      • Same; I am going to say it: people are so quick to auto-assume when a woman makes a claim (fair) of domestic abuse via a man, but put on rose-coloured glasses when it comes to men, forgetting they, too, are victims of domestic abuse. And I, for one, believe Johnny Depp was a victim of domestic abuse by Amber Heard, who sold her shit to TMZ, pledges her donations to charities (and never fulfilled them), and then tries to play victim in court. I will never defend that abusive trash (Heard) ever. EVER. She is as vile as they come.
      • The police officer who witnessed the crime happening denied these claims of homophobia from Amber's team by responding that she is gay  I find it weird you would oppose an instance when domestic violence is actually responded to and charged appropriately when your whole point is that that's something that happens too rarely. There's no excuse for a person beating another person, period. I really don't give a fuck if it's Amber abusing her wife, Amber abusing her husband or her husband abusing her (all of which I'm sure happened). Judging by her choice of partner (jumping from Johnny Depp to the abhorrent Musk Rat himself) I find it hard to feel sorry for her and think she's kinda laying her own bed at this point. I also think that the obliteration of her career was justified and was equal to the obliteration that Johnny Depp's own career received. Either way, I feel weird caring this much about a celebrity's personal life and making judgement calls about people I've never met. If we're gonna talk about domestic violence in pop culture more generally, a better case to worry about would be Chris Brown who is somehow still selling out tours in the UK. Afaik, Rihanna has never been accused by any partner of being abusive and I don't think ANYONE could make a claim that her abuse was deserved or mutual
      • This ex-partner in question has publicly defended Amber Heard and denied that that's what happened.  Still, there's no excuse for a woman being beaten and raped by a man. She can be an awful person, she still doesn't deserve to be a victim of domestic violence. This is why these men continue to win in jury trials, because it's so easy to make people hate on a woman. Most people think that a female victim needs to be this angelical, innocent figure to be believed. The moment you start showing her flaws and her mistakes, people turn on her. There's undeniable evidence that Johnny Depp abused Amber Heard. It doesn't matter which mistakes she's made, whatever lies she's told, or if she started hitting him back. All she did was file for divorce and then suddenly she started getting harrassed, was dragged to court, and had her entire private life exposed and ridiculed on social media. It's disturbing to me that there's still people defending what happened to her, though it's mostly people from the United States, so not entirely surprising...

"Hollywood's 50s Dream" discusses fame and dreams, especially wanting to achieve stardom. It also talks about the ups and downs of this journey and how this is an unstable dream, because one moment, they will love you, and the next, they will hate you, no matter how good you are. But you need to know that you are a star regardless of everything!!!!
