  1. I'm feeling pretty happy right now in my country (Brazil). I know life is hard here for a lot of LGBTQ people, especially trans women, and that I'm incredibly privileged to be a white cis man, who also comes from a relatively wealthy family. My life has always been easy, but since 2016 I've been feeling depressed and anxious about politics and how it affects life for other people. It all changed with last year's presidential election. I know the conservative threat will always exist, and that they might eventually return to power, but right now it's a relief to have Lula as our president again. I feel like I can enjoy my life and be happy knowing that we're on the path for progress again. We have a lot of problems in our country that are unlikely to be solved in my lifetime but overall I really like living in Brazil, I wouldn't move anywhere else, and recently I found out that I also enjoy my hometown and the simple life here. I tried living in the big city, going out at night, dreaming of getting famous, but that's an overrated lifestyle. I recently learned to finally love myself and enjoy the company of my family and childhood friends.
  2. I didn't know that. I thought it was an obscure song from her discography and that I was the only one who loved it
  3. She actually signed the contract in 2020 if I remember correctly. She was signed to the local Warner label for her brazilian records, and then in 2020 signed this contract with the American label to launch her career in the U.S. But her rant makes no sense because they poured a lot of money and promotion into her cancelled Girl From Rio album (later re-worked as Versions Of Me). They released at least 8 singles leading up to the album, paid for a lot of high profile featured artists like Cardi B, DaBaby, Missy Elliott, Khalid and Saweetie, put her in several high profile movie soundtracks like Fast 9 and Sing 2, not to mention putting her in studio with in-demand producers and songwriters, and plenty of television appearances. She has no right to claim Warner didn't promote her shitty music. She's doing this for attention because her career in the U.S. flopped miserably (thanks to her lack of talent, originality and personality) and now Warner won't waste another fortune in her career, so she's desperate...
  4. Kinda obsessed with this one right now.
  5. Kinda funny that she wrote Ain't Your Mama and is now singing I am your Mother
  6. Watching their podcast together I was under the impression that her brother was straight
  7. It's crazy how some songwriters and producers will be in demand colaborating with plenty of artists and then no one wants to work with them anymore. Kara DioGuardi used to be on the credits of so many albums I loved in the 2000s, and you just don't see her name anywhere now. This industry is brutal. ☠️
  8. I like Cool for the Summer better
  9. Anitta is not a real artist, and pure trash as a human being. I would recommend Pabllo Vittar because she actually features traditional brazilian sounds in a lot of her hits, so she brings something original, and you would not be supporting a problematic person. But the greatest brazilian artist right now is definitely Ludmilla. She's super talented and original, has a great voice and is a great songwriter, and also navigates throught several brazilian genres of music. I also love Majur
  10. I don't believe the Epic masters are what's holding her back, honestly. Bonnie has also promised albums that she produced independently and she never releases them. For me it appears she doesn't want to put out music quietly like small, independent artists do. I think she wants a big release with a lot of attention, whether it's from a deal with a record label or by becoming popular on TikTok. Which is frustrating to us because we know how talented Bonnie is, and how much potential she has to slowly build a significant fanbase if she was constantly releasing her music.
  11. Other than Anitta losing, the greatest moment of the ceremony was definitely Kim Petras' speech. It was very emotional. I understand she has made problematic comments about Kesha and Dr Luke, which I hope one day she apologizes to Kesha for, but I was still so happy for her. And Sam letting her give the speech. It was so beautiful. Also happy for Lizzo winning something. As for Beyoncé, the last album I truly enjoyed from her was Sasha Fierce, but it's hard to deny she deserved at least one Album of the Year award for any of the albums she released since, considering how revered they all were. They all seem to have made more of a cultural impact than the ones that won.
  12. It's embarrassing how desperate for attention she is. I guess that's what happens when you have no talent, you have to stand out any other way.
  13. This is what's most frustrating to me. I can buy the excuses for not releasing the Epic album, because it makes sense that she would have trouble getting the rights to do it. But there's no reason for her to not be releasing the songs she has produced on her own, which I personally enjoy as much as the ones from the Epic era. She said in an interview somewhere that she intended to use TikTok to promote her music. Well, she had a viral TikTok video with almost 5 million views last September about her career, and she has done nothing with it. I don't understand what exactly is she waiting for.
  14. Original tracklist for Nicole Scherzinger's infamous debut album Her Name Is Nicole, which was supposed to be released in 2007, before being delayed and reworked, until eventually being scrapped. 1. Supervillain 2. Who's Gonna Love You 3. Power's Out 4. Puakenikeni 5. Happily Never After 6. Baby Love 7. Save Me from Myself 8. Physical 9. Love Like This 10. Just Say Yes 11. When You're Falling 12. Whatever U Like 13. I Miss U 14. March 15. On My Side 16. I Blow
  15. Original tracklist (and cover art) for Meghan Trainor's TREAT MYSELF which was going to be released in 2018 before being delayed to 2020 and reworked: 1. TREAT MYSELF (officially released as single in 2018) 2. NO EXCUSES (kept for the 2020 version of the album) 3. LET YOU BE RIGHT (officially released as single in 2018) 4. HARD TO PLEASE (leaked) 5. EVIL TWIN (kept for the 2020 version of the album) 6. CRIMINALS 7. I'M DOWN (released in the 2019 EP The Love Train) 8. FOOLISH (released in the 2019 EP The Love Train) 9. LOOK AT US (leaked) 10. ANOTHER OPINION (kept for the 2020 version of the album) 11. DON'T THINK ABOUT LEAVIN' (leaked) 12. CAN'T DANCE (officially released as single in 2018) 13. ALL THE WAYS (released in the 2019 EP The Love Train) 14. AFTER YOU (released in the 2019 EP The Love Train) 15. GOOD MORNING feat. Gary Trainor (released in the 2019 EP The Love Train) Only track 6 remains unavailable.
  16. Final version of SLAY is really great and a significant improvement over the demo we've had, it's sad that we didn't get it from an official release. Bonnie needs to stop doing this, we want to support her and share these songs with out friends. Didn't she said in a recent podcast that she doesn't care about the results as much as the process of making these songs? Well, then release them and see where they go, I'm pretty sure her material will find an audience. I think we're on the verge of a dance pop comeback, people are getting tired of the depressing/slamming ex-boyfriends trope that pop girls have been doing. The new Beyoncé album is a hit, Gaga is breaking records with her tour, I believe the moment is coming for Bonnie's music again like it was 10 years ago.
  17. Any chance we get a surprise release tomorrow?
  18. We're literally at the middle of August, we should get her new single any day now 🙏
  19. I wish there was a thread for general music discussion, because sometimes I want to discuss some random thoughts but I ain't confident enough to create a new thread and face the fear of no one responding If there is a thread like this buried at many pages behind you can just point it to me and I'll start using it.
  20. Maybe she owns the masters but just need to figure out credits or future financial compensation for people who worked on the song? I don't think she would shoot a music video, hire an expert to work on post-production and promise a mid-August release if she hadn't secured the rights to release it. I'm confident we'll get it this month.
  21. When she says she's editing the video, does she mean she's editing by herself? Doesn't Bonnie have a team?
  22. Bonnie could have a song with 10 million streams or more if she's lucky it goes viral. Here and there artists have old songs (with no push from their labels) randomly going viral on TikTok. The same thing could happen to one of her songs, especially from the Epic album. The problem is... she has to release them first!
  23. Which song do you guys like best between American Girl and Bombastic?
  24. Thanks everyone for the leaks, God bless you all
