  1. What was the error? Am I a flop fan
  2. I agree totally. The annoying 13 year olds on Instagram who have never listened to a Britney song but take the opportunity to criticise her dancing or tell her to wash her hair are gross
  3. Thank you for sharing the audio! I was thinking when I read this it would be a lot more powerful coming from her mouth and I wasn't wrong. I don't think I understood how pissed off she was just reading the text. Just reading the text, I was kind of nervous she might be rambling a bit but it makes sense she was getting flustered in such a horrible situation. I'm proud of her and praying for her
  4. In a 24-minute statement against the conservatorship she’s lived under for 13 years, Britney Spears sounded off before a Los Angeles probate judge Brenda Penny on Wednesday, saying that she wants to sue her family and that she was “abused” by a previous therapist, among multiple other accusations. “I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized,” she said, during a hearing that was livestreamed to the media by the court. “I just want my life back.” She said she wants the conservatorship, which she feels is “abusive,” to end “without having to be evaluated.” She also said when she said she was okay in Instagram posts she shared over the past year, “I was in denial.” Shortly after her statement, the court recessed, and after its return, the transmission was stopped. Wednesday’s hearing came after years of near-silence on the issue from the singer, although the New York Times published a report earlier this week citing private legal documents that state she has been trying to end the conservatorship for several years, citing mismanagement by her father and the extreme legal costs involved. A lightly edited transcript of Britney Spears’ statement follows. It includes run-on sentences and unclear statements, but the context seems relevant: Poor Britney. It must have taken a lot of bravery to get up in court and be so vulnerable like that. No matter what anyone thinks about her mental state or the conservatorship, I don't see how anyone can justify having her dad as the sole conservator or not letting her choose her own lawyers or therapists or having a right to control her own pregnancies. Honestly, I know she doesn't want to do the psychological assessment, but I hope she's able to do it and get a clear result so they can end the conservatorship once and for all. If not, I hope they're able to provide her with a new conservator who isn't related to her and isn't trying to take advantage of her. #FreeBritney
  5. Really good write up from the New York Times about Britney and Jamie’s relationship, including lots of stuff I hadn’t heard before: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/06/22/arts/music/britney-spears-conservatorship.html#click=https://t.co/Ff3sQyRKVG How he got appointed into this role and has managed to keep it is just beyond me. He’s like the Donald Trump of conservators.
  6. You're not wrong But I'm sure Dua, Hailee, Olivia, Madison and all the other girls have been to the same surgeon and I never see anyone criticizing them! I thought her last album was pretty non-trendy...Apart from maybe all the Latin features but even that made sense with where she was living at the time. I'd be down for more of that kind of experimental stuff!
  7. Honestly, I think she looks great! Although I get the feeling this probably has more to do with filters than surgery. All I care about is if she makes another good album again!
  8. Idk...All I want from their TV department is just to get their shit together and move Lizzie McGuire to Hulu, but beggars can't be choosers I guess
  9. Just finished Marvel's Spiderman! It was surprisingly fun! Does anyone know if the DLC/sequel is worth the purchase?
  10. I was thinking of Chris Hemsworth at first
  11. I've never watched the show, but sounds like there was some bad blood happening there that made him leave ? I wonder who's going to try and expose who on a 5 part Twitter post first?
  12. It hasn't been officially announced yet, but Spice Girls will be releasing a special 25th anniversary vinyl and cassette for 'Wannabe' soon! Both new versions will feature the original song, a demo (which was first played in the film Spice World but which we'll now finally get in HQ for the first time), the Junior Vasquez remix and a brand new unreleased track called 'Feed Your Love'! 'Feed Your Love' is the first song they wrote with Richard "Biff" Stannard and fans have been wanting to hear it for a long time. This is how all re-releases should be!
  13. I can't imagine how this could be real...Kerli isn't listed as a writer and I don't think she even speaks Spanish so I can't imagine how she'd write this
  14. I think that's it! There's a lot of talented gals out there but not all of their talents lend themselves to reality TV. I hope she finds the right avenue for her!
  15. It's so cute! It looks like the kind of bike my Pokemon character would ride! I want to learn to ride just for this!
  16. Not me clicking on this expecting K-Pop I like it though! The verses are a little meh to me but the chorus is fun and laidback and catchy. I like her voice a lot too!
  17. I've heard of Years & Years before but never actually listened to one of their songs This is fun though! Not sure if I would listen to it without Kylie but it's a cute little bop.
  18. I mean as long as she's happy I guess? But like, she could be making us happy too by just releasing some goddamn music instead of shooting a short film ? Which ones did she write for Leighton? I don't think I remember hearing them ?
  19. Those are all interesting points. I kinda got the idea she maybe hadn't processed everything by the time The Fame came around - or maybe Interscope pressured her to put those Rob songs on the album? Although I feel like she maybe wouldn't be performing them live still if it was Rob after all, and she even went out of her way to perform 'Glitter and Grease' live for 200 shows or something crazy, so that throws a wrench in that idea. I'm not sure about the Rob lawsuit though. I feel like there was no precedent for her to be talking about sexual assault back then so I can't imagine her even knowing that she was allowed to bring that up, although I do get your point. As for him posting the songs, I didn't know about that! But maybe she just doesn't want the Rob songs out there? I feel like I remember her tweeting about No Floods (a Joe song) and maybe a couple of other older ones as well... It's all very confusing and I don't know if we'll ever get an answer. Unless someone can track them both down and interrogate them until we get an answer.
  20. I watched the whole episode for her and it was definitely quite sad to see. She's talked about this for a while now but the pregnancy aspect must be super scarring. Suddenly the 'Marry the Night' video makes a lot more sense. I always thought it was Rob personally, but your theory does make a lot more sense...With that said, she did take a photo with Joe in 2009, and in the documentary she made it pretty clear she wanted no contact with whoever the rapist was (at least now). As far as I know she's never even met with Rob since the release of The Fame, so maybe that means it was him after all? Or maybe it's someone entirely different we don't even know about. ?
  21. You're right! I never thought Camila would get past a first single, but then that annoying ass 'Havana' song had to take off...Maybe Jesy will have similar luck
  22. Honestly, I can't really see her being a superstar but I could see her being on the same level as a Bebe or a Rita. I love her voice so I can't wait to hear more of it!
