  1. "Behind Cinderella's Eyes" is now available to pre-order on CD! https://www.plasticpop.co.uk/cd/behind-cinderellas-eyes-double-cd
  2. I'm on the fence about purchasing the Nicola vinyl. I have a very limited collection, and CD is still my preference, so I hope it comes out digitally or on CD eventually too! The person that runs Plastic Pop said they couldn't do digital themselves due to licencing, but appeared open to exploring the idea of CD (although vinyl is their focus so we shouldn't expect it). I assume the label themselves (Polydor?) could do something with digital or CD, or their own version of the vinyl, if they wanted to though.
  3. To be confirmed, but I'd imagine it'll be Spring 2022 due to all the usual vinyl delays.
  4. Looks like it'll be out digitally October 15. We can pre-save here already: https://ffm.to/thespiritroom20th Assume it'll be the vinyl editions that are delayed to March 2022, which makes sense, since pressing plants are so overwhelmed by the demand.
  5. Looking forward to seeing what they do, but imagine it'll be stuff like competitions and live chats for the most part. Perhaps a new vinyl variant to be announced before release week too?
  6. Really looking forward to the 20th anniversary re-recording. You Get Me sounds great, I wasn't expecting this to be as fully produced when she was first teasing it as it sounded like the idea then was to create an acoustic version.
  7. I have a lot of sympathy for Jamie Lynn as well to be honest, even though that's probably not a popular position to take and many people don't. I see fans pushing an argument that Jamie Lynn has had 13 years to speak up for Britney, or even file a petition to terminate the conservatorship as an interested party herself, and I just think that outlook is maybe a bit too simple? She was 16 or 17 years old when the conservatorship was put in place in 2008 and in her early-20s during the period of time we now know Britney began seeking an end to it in 2014 according to a recent NYT article. With hindsight, it may be clear what we would've liked her to have done, but I think this expects a lot of someone who for the most part has been a teenager/young adult (and is only 30 years old now) throughout like many of us were too.
  8. So incredibly sad but I'm glad Britney has been able to speak out in her own words and that it's on record at her request. I remember being very sceptical in 2019 when things started to erupt again after the voicemail received by the Britney's Gram podcast was shared because the way things were unfolding reminded me of a time no fan wants to repeat and I still have a problem with the way some people behaved under the guise of concern for Britney's wellbeing - specifically those who swarmed her Instagram comments with unhelpful remarks or just used the situation to create clout-chasing content on TikTok - but through that year and with each revelation that has come since there's just no way to remain neutral on this. Her conservators and the systems that have kept it in place can't hide from scrutiny any longer and I hope this is a turning point for Britney. I suspect this is going to continue for some time yet though I hope we start to see some indication that steps are being taken to begin honouring what Britney wants soon!
  9. Yeah, I agree! The actual artwork is weird with the spine effect... it makes no sense? ? It's like the designer saw that cassette and VHS effects are popular, and thought books would be too?
  10. I prefer that photo you used too. Hopefully the one she shared isn't the actual artwork lol.
  11. Agree with your thoughts that this picture works incredibly well. It really suits the mood of the album!
  12. Something like that definitely matches the album better. The official artwork makes it seem like it'll be a very happy/positive album.
  13. Awesome choices! Aside from Machinee, I love Say Something, She's My Religion, and Who I Am.
  14. Lana - Life Is Beautiful because we'd been waiting so long.
  15. I'd given up on ever seeing decent artwork for Thankful. Kelly should call you up for the re-release in 2023!
  16. It was added by what looks like a Selena stan, with no previous contributions to the site. Don't believe it, although it would be a cute feature since Britney mentioned many times that she liked Selena's album Revival.
  17. That's so cute, and much nicer than the official version we currently see on the Urban Outfitters vinyl. I'm surprised they didn't use that photo of her.
  18. Gorgeous cover, and great song!
  19. Hearing the Come Clean demo is... weird, lol. It doesn't seem like it was written with a Disney popstar in mind to begin with!
  20. I'll see your 192kbps, and raise you 320kbps, lol. This is a rip from a promo CD which included the same 12 tracks featured on the Best Buy bonus disc. As far as I know it's totally identical. I don't have the album itself/CD1 so can't rip that for us in higher quality I'm afraid.
  21. These aren't bad at all.
  22. Very confusing, as always, lol. I guess people on all sides are feeding the narrative for TMZ and that's why their reporting is getting messy. I'm inclined to believe whatever Britney herself says, or is reported to say I suppose, too. If she says she'll perform again, I believe that. She's reported to have claimed her father admitted her against her will during the court hearing, so I believe that (although you have to wonder who's telling the media this when it was a closed hearing?). The judge in the case has also ordered an investigation into the conservatorship with a report expected to be filed by September. I guess if there's anything untoward it'll be flagged up and the truth of the matter will eventually come out: https://theblast.com/britney-spears-conservatorship-investigation-advisors-report/
  23. I suppose the take away is that by filming the video saying she's ok and asking fans not to worry, she also agrees with the caption that went along with it if it wasn't written by her. It's difficult to know for certain, but I do feel like Britney's a very private person especially post-2007 where her life was under an intense microscope of public scrutiny and would be mortified by everyone discussing her life like this.
  24. I was critical of the movement and how it was unfolding on social media in a chaotic and frenzied fashion, but of course I support Britney and her right to advocate for herself. It's great that she attended the hearing, spoke about what she wants and made requests. I hope that this leads to positive changes for her, but I feel like if the end goal for her is to get out of the conservatorship that will be a long process.
  25. I find the fan's constant speculation about this really gross, and the latest podcast is really inappropriate to me. We truly have no idea what is happening despite what we hear from supposed 'sources', we don't know what Britney's physical or mental health is like right now, and we don't know what her diagnosis is (if she even has one). I think 'FreeBritney' is slightly misjudged when it's possible that fans campaigning for this could unwillingly be asking that she's 'freed' her into a dangerous situation in terms of her long-term mental health and wellbeing.
