That's really strange. So they just don't show up in the notifications tab at all?

Lemme revive this three year old thread to post the latest trailer! People are freaking out because there's presumably a lesbian couple in the aquarium. Thoughts?

What do you mean "now"? Her voice has always sucked. -
Yasss okay, slay! I'll start a thread with all the ones I think are good and y'all can help me decide. I know what you mean about the front page. I'm not sure if it's possible to do with the system though but I do think it could look good. I'll look into it and see if it's possible. You're so sweet for all your Twitter promo! Thank you so much for that boo, I definitely do notice and I really appreciate it. You need to be our official Social Media Co-Ordinator! Omg, I like having the news up the top of the page though! I think it makes the site look more professional, whereas if we had the chatbox as the first thing you see I think it would be kinda amateur looking. I agree, that would be awesome! But I don't think it's possible. The only way you can see updates is if it's on something you yourself have edited. Also @Gone Boy and @PrettyBitch, are notifications working for y'all yet?

Six of the Most Shocking Cultural Appropriations Ever
Main Pop Girl commented on Main Pop Girl's article in Satire
I know you think you're making an innocent joke, but please don't use the word "bae" in jest. This is a word created by our African American brothers and sisters in all seriousness and it should not be used lightly by privileged white people.- 10 comments

Yasss, that would look so cute! With all the confetti flying down from above her! -
I do! I have like one finished track, one which I really like but I'm not sure about the verses, one collaboration and a few partially done tracks. But I wanna find someone who can produce them properly before I release them. How about you?

This just in: Taylor Swift's latest 'Love Story' doesn't involve one of her many, many boyfriends, but this time is a (hopefilly) one-sided romance between her and the online neo-Nazi movement. Just months ago, feminist writer Camille Paglia dubbed the popstar an "obnoxious Nazi Barbie" who claimed to encourage girl power but instead simply used her female friends as "performance props" to promote a “silly, regressive public image”. And it seems that Swift is not yet 'Out of The Woods' just yet, landing in hot water recently after reports that she has become an unofficial mascot for white supremacy amongst far-right blogs. According to supporters, it is Swift's lack of 'Bad Blood' which was the bouncing off point for her status as Hitler's head honcho. "Firstly, Taylor Swift is a pure Aryan goddess, like something out of classical Greek poetry. Athena reborn. That's the most important thing," says white supremacist author Andre Anglin. "We are certain that as soon as Nazis saw her, they were magnetically drawn to her sculpted Aryan form and angelic demeanour." But it's not just her 'Style' which attracts Nazis to Swift. According to Anglin, "It is also an established fact that Taylor Swift is secretly a Nazi and is simply waiting for the time when Donald Trump makes it safe for her to come out and announce her Aryan agenda to the world. Probably, she will be betrothed to Trump's son, and they will be crowned American royalty." 'This Love' allegedly stems from a series of Hitler quotes falsely attributed to Swift and spread virally through image board website Pinterest. Teenager Emily Pattinson started posting memes on her account to spoof Swift years ago, but was soon asked to take her content down by Swift's attorneys, who claimed: But oddly enough, this isn't the first time Swift has been associated with Nazism. Aside from Paglia's very public criticism of the singer, the typically squeaky 'Clean' imaged popstar was also left in a sticky situation way back in 2009 after a photo of her posing with a Swastika-adorned fan leaked online. According to Swift's representative, "Taylor took pictures with about 100 people that night… she doesn’t know who this guy is and she didn’t realize what was on his shirt." But this didn't stop online commentators from criticising Swift's role in the pphotograph, or from suggesting that the 'JH' on her chest stood for 'Jew Hater' (apparently it actually stood for Julianne Hough, whose party she was attending). What do you think? Is Taylor the perfect candidate to bring neo-Nazism to the forefront of pop culture, or will we never see it in our 'Wildest Dreams'? Should we continue making reference to random Swift songs in all of our articles, or are you already removing us from your favourites? Let us know in the comments section below!

Proud of you. When you do your first drag show you better take some pictures to show her the next time you meet her!

'Best Friend' sounds pretty good, although I prefer the sound of the more synthy studio version. Do we know if they actually performed any other new songs or was it just that one?

A bit after she signed with him she started posting pics on Instagram promoing Bieber so I think it's a pretty safe bet. I wanted one for 'Confetti' not because I like the song, but just because I think the video would be adorable. -
Is this game actually good? I have a friend who's obsessed with it but I never got the appeal.
-
If I didn't know the source photographs so well I'd think this was a real picture. Good work!
-
Do you know when the songs were recorded? Are they Allie X era?
-
I definitely understand where you're coming from, and I think it's a fair point. But I also think the court of public opinion is important in cases when justice isn't served by the judge. For example, Bill Cosby still hasn't been prosecuted of any of the rapes that he's allegedly occured, even though there's pretty much no doubt in anyone's mind that he committed them. I think it's pretty fair for the public to take over in that case. And as for this situation, it's pretty clear that both of their teams have been leaking their shit to TMZ, so I don't think they're too worried.

This story is so fucking weird honestly. Their marriage was already kind of strange - like they'd both been with partners for years who they hadn't married and then they just randomly broke those people off to get married to each other after like two days. Now his mum dies and she wants a divorce but they have no pre-nup. But now she's claiming domestic abuse even though there was no evidence directly after the fact? Weird af. Wait for this to turn out to be a publicity stunt for their latest movie.

Ahhh yeah, I get that! I've been writing songs lately too but right now I'm just in the process of finding someone who can produce my vocals. I really wanna put together an EP just to see if I can so that's the goal for me right now. You should work on one too and we can release them together! Also, I think you're not following the thread which is why you aren't getting notifications. If you click Follow up the top of this page it should work.

It's a sad fact that cultural appropriation is everywhere in our society today. From everyday people on the streets copying the clothing of other cultures with no understanding of their true meaning (such as the white male chauvinist racist pigs who wear native American headdresses) to musicians stealing the styles, genres and techniques developed by minority groups (such as Paris Hilton making a mockery of the traditional European genre EDM), this disgusting form of racism has pervaded every aspect of our corrupt western culture so neatly that it's sometimes hard to even realise when it's happening! In case you blinked and missed these disgusting microaggressions towards POC's (that's People Of Colour for those uncultured Facebook users among you), we've set up this list so that you can stop protesting the legalised murdering of homosexuals in Nigeria and direct your rage towards the people who really deserve it - celebrities! Check below for the six most shocking cultural appropriations ever in the history of our world, but be warned - this material may be triggering to some. 6. Lady Gaga's Sinful 'Alejandro' The first entry on our shocking list is a three in one song and video combo. 'Alejandro', released in 2009 by Lady Gaga (or Lady Racist as we like to call her) immediately appropriates several cultures in the lyrics alone. "You know that I love you boy/Hot like Mexico, rejoice," Gaga says, perpetuating the stereotype of all Mexicans as attractive. Disgusting! The worst part of this is that she is not only stereotypes our Hispanic allies in Trump-like fashion, but she does so through an attempt at rap music, the traditional music of the African American diaspora born out of tribal influences and the pain and suffering of slavery. Yes, you heard right - yet another privileged cis straight white woman is appropriating from the black community in an attempt to look "cool". Gross! To top it all off, the music video even appropriates the clothing of other cultures. While it's okay that Gaga as a white person is making clearly mocking nuns clothing and the symbols of the privileged religion Christianity, the appropriation of Nazism, a strong culture with its own values and traditions, is frankly horrible. We can't wait to see the downfall of Lady GrossGross! 5. Emma Watson Wears Jeans Because her name is often mentioned in the same sentence as the UN, you might have been fooled into thinking that Harry Potter star Emma Watson was a good person. But if anything, the UN should really be placing a ban on Emma Watson and all her other magical friends! Not only does she flaunt her magic-wielding abilities in everyone's faces, but she's also contributing to one of the worst cultural appropriation trends in recent history by wearing jeans again and again and again! As everyone knows, Watson is an English actress who now lives in America - but as is common knowledge, jeans are not an English creation, meaning Watson has no right to appropriate them. Those intelligent enough to actually research culture know that jeans were created in Genoa, Italy, which is where their name comes from! By the seventeenth century, jeans were basically the public uniform of the people all over northern Italy. Emma Watson, who judging by her nose has no Italian heritage, clearly has no right to wear jeans and profit off the hard work of many hard working designers. Next we'll see her eating pizza! 4. Beyoncé Stars in Carmen: A Hip Hopera While we all know it's absolutely impossible for black people to be racist against white people, and that to criticise Beyoncé even in a minor way is to criticise the entire feminist movement, we have new proof that Beyoncé is racist that will likely shock you! The reason for this? Beyoncé isn't actually black! Just look in the above commercial for her feature film debut, Carmen: A Hip Hopera, which was made in 2001 when Beyoncé was still starting out in her career and which her team has tried to hide the existence of! You'll see a huge difference between the true Bey in this video and the Queen B we all know today. In the commercial, you'll see that Beyoncé has natural blonde hair and speaks perfect American - even though now she has black hair and speaks only in African American Vernacular and French. Shockingly, Beyoncé is actually a white woman who is trying her best to pass as African American! She dyed her hair black in order to fit in with the true Queens of Colored People, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Poor Kelly and Michelle! 3. Katy Perry Tries Transracialism Katy Perry's appropriation is so innocuous that we didn't even realize how disgustingly racist she was for years. Our first tip off should have come from the fact that this rich white Christian lady chooses to dye her naturally brown hair black to mimic African American people, and that she changed her last name from 'Hudson' to 'Perry' to copy the amazing African American film auteur Tyler Perry! But we didn't put the dots together until Perry appeared in this clip for 'Part of Me', which is an exercise in pro-American propaganda and the suppression of people of colour. As you can see, Perry is clearly using the camoflauge look in this video, which to her may be a fashion trend but which to it's traditional users was a sign of resistance! Camoflauge was started by the French military in 1915 as they fought the evils of America: and as all French people are black, Perry is clearly copying their style for her own materialistic benefits. I, personally, am disgusted, and I have no idea why Perry hasn't been sent to prison yet. 2. Angelina Jolie Is the Spokeswoman for White Privilege Just the sight of privileged scum like Angelina Jolie looking so scornfully on poor disabled Syrian refugees makes me absolutely sick. I'm sure I don't have to point out the ridiculous hypocrisy in Jolie appropriating the traditional Syrian headscarf for her own fashion choice - culture is not an outfit, people! But the worst part is the rumours we heard of Jolie blatantly stealing culture while in Syria by actually attempting to speak Syrianese. I'm horrified. The idea that a privileged white woman would swoop into another persons country and actually try to communicate with them using a language that they created sickens me. I bet she didn't even give credit to the original creators of the language, the Syrianese people! The cherry on top is that even Jolie's first name is racist - Angelina is actually a Greek name! Rise up, Greek brothers and sisters, and let's take back what's ours! Let's ban Jolie from America and show her what it's like to really be a refugee! 1. Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy' Music Video Iggy Azalea is a rapper well-known for her hits like 'Fancy', 'Black Widow' and 'Flexin' & Finessin' (Feat. Juicy J)', but there's a dark side to every blonde Australian who spells her name out letter by letter. While Azeala's rapping skills cannot be matched even by blacks like Tupac, her videos are a different matter. Take the above clip for 'Fancy', in which Iggy struts around a high school setting wearing a series of provocative outfits. Sounds innocent enough, right? Wrong! Open your eyes, sheeple. Azalea has confirmed that 'Fancy' is a tribute to the 1995 teen drama film Clueless, which in itself is an adaptation of Jane Austen's novel Emma. The problem here is that Jane Austen is from England, a country historically discriminated against by both Australian and American people! Azalea is clearly appropriating her story from the downcast British and silencing the voices of her paler, tea-drinking brothers and sisters. The fact that British star Charli XCX is willing to collaborate on this song and has clearly internalized racism against her own country makes the entire situation even more saddening. What is the worst cultural appropriation you have seen lately? Do the people on this list deserve to rot in hell like we believe, or is it enough to simply strip them of their entire careers and livelihoods and send them back to where they came from? Let us know in the comments section down below!

Ooooh okay, that makes more sense then! That dodgy cutting looks okay with the outline around it but when you take that away it does look kinda weird. Hopefully someone will find the unedited photo or something that you can use. But you did a good job with the weird photo you had!
-
That's pretty amazing! Is the photo real or is it a manip? I only ask because there does seem to be something weird going on around her hip and feet and hair, but I can't tell if it's just a weird photo or if it's been cut out weirdly or what. But I love the background!

I've been working on this cover for Doctor Rosen Rosen's EP featuring Meg, Anjulie, Jessie and Kay and I'm aaalmost happy with it, although I think I might end up replacing the Meg picture. Feedback is super welcome on this one!

Just wanted to let you guys know that I've updated the software again so notifications should hopefully be working! I've also done some tweaking so that you'll soon be able to post emojis on PHF, which is way overdue. So everyone posting off their phones can keep doing so! I've also added a Preview button up on the top left of the editor, so you can use that before you make a post to check if everything's looking the way it should. Hope that helps some of you guys! I'm also interested in getting a new theme for the forum. Do you guys think that would be a good idea? Would you be happy for me to decide or should we put it to a vote as to which one we get? Do you mean having images saying 'Welcome Centre' and stuff like little buttons? Or just images associated with the forum? I think the latter is a good idea but I'm not sure what we would use for some of them. And when you say seperate the news and forum tabs, what do you mean by that? At the moment the chatbox is in between them. I agree with the new members comment too. But the weird thing is we get like fifteen new members every day, it's just that a lot of them don't post publicly or they'll just make a couple of posts and then leave. I think some of them are just here to trade tbh, but I'm not sure about the ones who come and make a post in the Welcome Centre but then don't make any more posts. We have that already! But the problem is you can only search by username at the moment and not by text.
