Also extra info; it was scrapped bc Garrett Esctasy left the group and was replaced with JayyVon who re recorded some of the songs some of whicb were B Sides or ended up on the standard of Epic.

Oh and also not their second; third. Their second album was in 2008. OMFG was 2009.

It's been mentioned a couple times here but Fefe Dobson's Firebird is an interesting album (did a run through it for the first time in a while earlier).

Pretty sure she said in the lead up to Emotion Sickness that she herself pulled the plug because she was afraid of how people would view it compared to Joy (and specifically that they would think Firebird wasn't as good). Honestly I don't think it lives up to Sunday Love or Joy but it's interesting that after label struggles and whatnot, that she would cancel it herself. I'm sure the label was hesitant as well though since the singles didn't make much noise. Still pretty good as an album, some cool atmospheric stuff on the title track and Charge, good pop moments on Cloud Nine, In Better Hands, Save Myself.

Fefe probably has a very limited amount of fans here, but I had some thoughts after not hearing the album for a while.

Apparently I'm the only one who still uses this thread lol but I've been getting into Natalie Imbruglia lately and I've seen that she apparently has some scrapped albums (someone probably has more insight on this than me). She confirmed that what she was working on for her third album was mostly scrapped since the label thought it was "too heavy on guitars", some of it was probably reworked for Counting Down the Days. I've seen that an early version of Perfectly and a track called Because of You leaked (though I haven't tracked them down).

She also seemingly had an album after CDTD that was instead made into a Greatest Hits and only had a handful of new songs (and some others that made it onto her next album).

 

While I'm here I guess I'll also say I hope the lost Anna Nalick album that she worked with Nathan Chapman on leaks or somehow is released someday.

whatever the original concept for Rainbow was in 2016 when Buried Alive was the lead single.
and the original concept for what became Gag Order in 2021-2022 when Nothing's Sacred was supposed to be the lead single.

Melanie Martinez: the original 2020/2021 album before the K&OL leaks started popping up en masse lol
those songs (Dragon's Blood, Sirens, Death (demo), Void (Demo), Needle & Thread, etc) all deserved a release

Gaga's ARTPOP Act II and/or if that double-disc album concept rumour was real (ART disc, POP disc)
same with Madonna's Rebel Heart double-disc album concept as well (Rebel disc, Heart disc)

Raye's probably numerous scrapped albums since 2018. i know we have the impartial album of Scorpio (2017) from that 200x file leak a few years ago and rumours of what 21st Century Blues originally was in 2020-ish either titled Dark Dance Songs, Fantastic or any other titles that im forgetting right now lol
