  1. I bet it's more of a company reputation type of thing. If they were to be tied to such a high profile controversy, it'll probably reflect poorly on the company's image in the long run.
  2. I haven't followed this whole saga unfortunately, but from the bits I have read, it seems a lot of people are unhappy that she hasn't been more outspoken about Britney's freedom...but that being said, we don't know how she's been handling things behind closed doors. Either way, it seems like she finally made a public video supporting her, so hopefully it's genuine!
  3. Right? Seeing the surge in vinyl demand has been crazy! RSD used to be just for music nerds, but now it's a holiday for scalpers.
  4. Kesha just announced she'll be releasing more of the webstore colour variants but won't ship until 2022. She didn't announce when the second pressing pre-orders would go up though.
  5. I think I read somewhere that all the UO pressings sold out, but were brought back pretty quickly. I checked just now and it looks like it's still up! But yeah, I'll be really curious if they increase the webstore variants beyond the initial 500. Or perhaps this is just the first release and they'll push the release of the Webstore ones to other retailers like Walmart later down the road. I think in the US, Target is getting Lorde's marbled orange, which I believe started as a UK webstore exclusive.
  6. I was just about to post the webstore release! I can't believe how quickly those sold out. I saw it posted and checked out, but when I went to go back and check the details and grab images, it was sold out already. Crazy! I wonder why they would limit the release to 500, that's literally less than most RSD drops.
  7. I just checked, looks like they fixed it. Originally, the center of the LP had the same design as the one from Warrior.
  8. I'm screaming, I didn't realize it until you pointed it out!
  9. Recordstore UK also just listed a bundle for Ariana's middle projects which were previously available on her webstore, but have since been sold out. (Click on the image for the link) Dangerous Woman: Purple & Black Swirl x2LP Sweetener: Opaque Peach x2LP Thank U, Next: Clear/Pink Split x2LP
  10. Urban Outfitters just dropped Kesha's dollar $ign era projects! (Click on the images for the links) Ke$ha - Animal (Expanded Edition) Ke$ha - Cannibal (Expanded Edition) Ke$ha - Warrior (Expanded Edition)
  11. This is so sad! Just let her live her life, I don't get why that's such a difficult concept. Her asshole of a father is straight up extorting money from her and using her name as a brand. smh.
  12. Ava Max - Let It Be Me (Pre-David Guetta Demo) Saw this pop up on dbree. I know she performed an acoustic version of the song, so I was wondering if this was perhaps another performance or a legit studio take.
  13. Did anyone participate in RSD Drop 1 this year?? I went to my local record store and got Ariana and Gaga's releases. They implemented a one RSD Exclusive per person, I think to make it harder for scalpers. Luckily my friend was with me so I could get both! By the time i got to the crates, there was only one of Ariana's left and 2 of Gaga's. The store also had 2 copies of Ariana's release on CD, so I picked up one of those too. I also found out that the UK got a special pressing of the Confetti album with the new remix. I really want that one ?
  14. I think she looks great! I mean, the camera angle and down-tilt is def feeding into that triangular face, but I don't see anything wrong.
  15. It could be real and my speakers are just meh!
  16. It does sound pretty good! But literally the moment it hit the chorus, I was like, why did the quality drop?
  17. DId she include a link for her unreleased songs? If not, let's ask her for it.
  18. Oh for sure, I think comparisons will always be there, hopefully by going solo, more people will see her as Jesy, not the "fat one in Little Mix". At least Camila went from "the annoying one in 5H" to "the annoying one". lmfao
  19. She mentioned the biggest thing about being in a girl group is constantly being compared to the other girls. I do think being solo, you might be compared here and there, but it wouldn't be the immediately judgement. (e.g. people calling her the "fat one" of the group, like how Leigh-Anne is the "black one" of the group)
  20. You know, the first time she ever alluded to sexual assault, my mind immediately went to Rob, but a few things deterred that thought. If it truly was Rob, I would imagine Gaga wouldn't want him profiting off of her, so I would expect her to scrap all those songs and just release the material she did with Red, KNS, Fernando, etc. #2 Rob filed a lawsuit against Gaga I think just before or around the BTW era (if I remember correctly) claiming that he was underpaid for his work on the songs from The Fame. I would imagine this is a risky move considering she could counter-sue and bring a lot of negative attention to him, the same way Kesha did with Dr. Luke, albeit, a couple years before Kesha v. Dr. Luke. Lastly, Fusari was the one that posted songs like Glitter & Grease and Real Cool. He has publishing rights to those songs, so legally, he's not in any hot water; but I'm assuming he wouldn't be in any real position to try and light a fire if he was guilty of rape. It was already public news by the time he posted those songs that Gaga didn't want her old material being posted online, like the time she paid a huge amount on an auction to buy back her old demos tapes. Aside from claiming the 2 of them dated, I don't really see Fusari as a "suspect" tbh. I just see a man who created some killer songs and wanted to get compensated for his work. As for the '09 photo, I could totally see that as a staged thing. Maybe Joe contacted her, saw her at an event, etc?
  21. In her segment of the show, The Me You Can't See, Lady Gaga revealed she was raped and left pregnant when she was 19. This would've placed the year to be around 2005, which as long term fans know, was when she was working on the project, the SG Band. This would also be right before her work with Rob Fusari in 2006, who is arguably a key player in shaping her image seen on The Fame. So the question remains, who was the producer that Gaga refused to mention? Looking at the credits for her music during 2005, one name comes up multiple times. Joe Vulpis. The pair apparently first met in 2003 but worked more closely throughout 2005, even landing her a gig with Grandmaster Melle Mel. Gaga mentioned the man threatened to burn all her music, alluding to a point that the pair had created a collection of material, not just one or two songs. Do you think Mr. Vulpis could be the culprit of this heinous act?
  22. Yeah! It was so sad to read that "Sweet Melody" was what broke her, considering it's their biggest single on the charts. Hopefully without having the constant comparison to the other girls, she'll have a thriving solo career.
  23. To this day, I still can't stand her.
  24. ngl, as much as I'd love to see her succeed, I have a hard time seeing her reaching even Bebe or Rita's levels. Both of them have a certain uniqueness about them that I'm not fully confident Jesy can tap into. But then again, look at Camila. She managed to make it work with all her celebrity connections, so maybe Jesy has a chance? Perhaps tapping into more R&B/Hip Hop will be her route.
  25. Congrats to Jesy! I hope being part of the Interscope family treats her well.
