  1. That's so interesting, I wonder what kind of perks they'll offer that RCA wasn't able to. I hear RCA is pretty trash tbh.
  2. I love this edit of "Not My Problem"! tbh, I don't really like the album track, but this made it way groovier. I'm not familiar with "Not My Vibe", but this edit sounds really good! I can't wait to hear snippets of your edits being tagged as "demos". Lmfao
  3. Still praying for Bonnie's S.L.A.Y.
  4. Ah, that's probably why! I do remember seeing their production credits with The Weeknd, now that you mention it. welp, end of an era, wonder what they're (individually) gonna do next!
  5. I didn't even realize they were still together! I haven't heard much from them since...2013?
  6. Awesome, thank you! I really gotta get my Kerli folder organized...
  7. Ah, that makes sense. I love both of those! To your knowledge, were there other songs written during that camp? Or in a similar type of setting?
  8. Thank you! I knew I saw it somewhere, but I didn't wanna go digging through pages. Were songs like "Just Like That" written for other artists? I remember that one, specifically, having a more dance-pop beat.
  9. gdi I missed it. Is this available anywhere else?
  10. Does anyone have a list of songs that were intended/recorded for WOMC and Utopia?
  11. tbh, I've never cared much for Justin. Overall, I'm glad he's taking responsibility for his past behaviour and I'd be curious what else he addresses, if anything.
  12. I mean...I guess better late than never, but bruh.
  13. So...sorry to hate, but I don't get why he was picked. I finally got around to watching it and I was bored 2 minutes in. His vocals are good, yes, but imo, he's not a great entertainer. Like, if Adele was selected to perform, I'd also have questions. Isn't the purpose of the Halftime Show to entertain? I think the best part were the field dancers...
  14. Wait, I don't get why the interviewer is being shady. I mean yeah, J.Lo is playing in the background, but...that's it?
  15. Oh no! May she rest in peace, what a pioneer and innovator.
  16. Oh shit, that instrumental hits hard! I would've loved to hear this on the album! I will say that it sounds somewhat dated, but not in the same way the Will.I.Am tracks sound. Those were trendy, this one is like classic.
  17. But the Testarossa is a 12-cylinder. Nobody can pass up the chance to take that out for a spin.
  18. I'll have to tune in! Curious what small tidbits and details she dropped!
  19. I don't care, but y'all do, so discuss here. Happy 2021!
  20. I love the diversity on this list! There are a few I haven't heard, so I gotta give those a spin.
  21. Good on her for taking time to herself. 9 years in the band is a long time and a lot of pressure. Maybe in time, she'll come back down the road!
  22. Bless. I hope she quickly gets this last album out and never has to deal with those people again.
  23. I guess technically "Oh, What a World 2.0" came out this year, but nah, I just love all her albums.
  24. Kacey Musgraves won my top pick for the second year in a row! Other notable artists that were in my top are: Lady Gaga Phoebe Ryan Ava Max Zara Larsson Songs: Freya Ridings - Castles Meghan Trainor - Workin' On It Kylie Minogue - Say So Parachute - Meant to Be Ariana Grande - Don't Call Me Angel I don't think Spotify is a great measurement for me because I also have local files, so I tend to use my default music player on my phone. From that list, the top songs were: Ally Brooke - No Good Dua Lipa - Hallucinate Little Mix - Gloves Up Clean Bandit - Tick Tock Mabel - Don't Call Me Up All in all, I think it's been a great year in pop music! Lots of artists, lots of options, lots of great moments with these songs and albums.
  25. One thing I was thinking about was, so many artists ended up releasing albums this year (probably to help record labels from hemorrhaging money). What's going to happen next year? Are these artists and singer/songwriters going to come back with a quick follow-up and do a double feature tour? On top of this, if any of the albums that came out this year were rush albums, I wonder how many artists are almost done with their contracts. Thinking in line with Kesha's situation. I think she only has one more album that she needs to release under RCA/Kemosabe before she can finally be free.
