Thinking back to this, I think Esmée came up in the wrong era. She was battling against the dance-pop sound with her throwback pop / R&B sound. I think if she had released in the era of streaming, she could've carved out a niche for herself.

Anyone know how tf someone can get the blue vinyl of Lorde's Solar Power in the US without import?? Second question: Was the yellow variant ultimately changed to the orange? I remember when it was first announced, they had yellow, orange, blue, brown, and clear.

Honestly, I think it's the best decision, given her condition. The girls were watching out for her and wanted what was best for her. It's not like a "girls being bullies and bullying her out of the group." It's genuine concern because they want to see her get better and not worse, because imagine if Jesy had done something irreversible. That being said, in a couple eras down the road, imagine if there was a Little Mix featuring Jesy Nelson track? I would be here for it!
