I liked Easy the most from the EP but I don't revisit it as much as American Girl. Something from the EP just sounded off for me. I think it is the vocal production on the tracks. Nonetheless, I'm really hoping she gets to release an album this year.

I completely agree. It may not be as good as it used to be but I bet she can still sing circles around the majority of Popstars. This isn't a Milli Vanilli situation.

Mhmm, that would have been much better. I would have also loved a disc with solo versions of each girls favorite track. Kind of like how Nicola released her solo version of Memory Of You.

I gave in and listened. What a song! If she would have released this, it would have definitely topped American Girl. I just hope she steps up her game because her last EP was not her best work.

The Girls Aloud Boxset is pretty good. I love that they included all the Tony Lamezma remixes of their singles. Those remixes are beyond amazing. Especially his remixes for Call The Shots and I Think We're Alone Now.

That was rough. I would have called it quits after Emotion. At least there really wasn't a backing track playing during that song. It got real bad when the backing track for We Belong Together started playing. It wasn't just a backing track, it was the whole damn song. If I was her though, I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone and their mother knows she can sing. While her voice may not be as amazing, it is still great.

That's why I haven't played the clip. It's so tempting though.

It is truly an amazing album. I hope the next album mimicks both the success and amazingness of Aphrodite. She deserves it after the mess that was Kiss Me Once.

Great pick. I had to order that bastard twice. I waited for months and never received my original order. Luckily they sent me another one that I actually received. I do wish there would have been more rarities though. Maybe each girl could have picked their favorite track and put their solo version on the rarities disc. I think my favorite is The Goddess Edition of Kylie's Aphrodite.

I think I Wish would have been much better if Girls Aloud had recorded it. I love when Xenomania produces wistful tracks like Call The Shots, I Wish, The Loving Kind, Ace Reject, and If You Go just to name a few.

I can totally hear that. The only track that had a modern Girls Aloud sound was Parachute. That was inspired (borrowed) from The Loving Kind. Everytime the chorus from Parachute starts, I always start singing The Loving Kind unintentionally.

I don't know much about them but it seems like an odd time to leave. They seemed to have a little more success with this album so you think they would have stuck it out longer. Hopefully the other girls will proceed on. I do feel for their fans though because I remember how devastated I was when Geri left. I feel like it is always a double edged sword being in a group because it seems inevitable that a member will eventually jump ship. Thank god Girls Aloud made it as long as they did.

Which is surprising considering her career as a songwriter. You think she would have faired better with a major label. Or I guess that could have been her downfall. Maybe they were expecting too much from her sales wise.

I was just about to post this. I'm glad they picked it up and didn't leave it as a one season show. I'm also excited to see what they do with the next season. Things kind of went batshit crazy at the end so it should be interesting.
