On September 7, 2022, the tracklist for BLACKPINK new album "Born Pink" was announced. The album is set to have eight tracks, but one seems kinda familiar. Track #6 "The Happiest Girl" turns out to be the demo "Happiest Girl" by band Cruel Youth, with vocals of Teddy Sinclair, formely known as Natalia Kills. The song is not new on the internet, as the demo leaked back to October 2021 (may be wrong about the date) but it wasn't on the Blackpink fans radar until the annoucement of a track of the same name written by Teddy, her husband William Sinclair and "Paro" was going to be on the album. Following this, most of the uploads with Cruel Youth / Teddy's demo are being taken down from YouTube, but some fans have re-uploaded it. Check out the demo here: The track was also previously recorded by singer SAYGRACE (known for her hit cover of Lesley Gore "You Don’t Own Me" featuring G-Eazy), whose version leaked on March 3, 2022. Her demo can be heard here (may or may not be blocked on certain countries including the US): "Born Pink" by BLACKPINK is set to be released on September 16, 2022. Would you give it a chance to the album?

Description mentions it is the writer's demo + the title says "[Demo by Engelina Andrina]", Engelina being the one who sung the demo and co-wrote the track. I wouldn't be surprised if more that one "writer's demo" exists not only for Like a Drug but for any other track, but i feel that the whole X demos information can be or is messy, specially when it comes to the "this is not Kylie" thing.
-
Is this the "mastermix"? asking since it says not kylie and well this is the og writer's demo
-
Also gonna mention The One with the original "demo" being released on 2007 on a compilation and Kylie's version on 2008 + the supposed demo being cut (the file labelled as demo being 3:39 when the actual song is around 4:58-5:00)

Thiniking on the mess with "You Make Me Feel" and the "writer's demo" of Lose Control being supposed leaks when these were taken from the 2009 Kish Mauve album like 😭that's officially released stuff we don't know if they were recorded before, during or after Kylie's X album.

Big Time Rush (Unreleased Infopost + Masterpost)
ConnectedColor replied to Kipper's topic in Jukebox
Just found out Keke Palmer has a demo of their track "Show Me" -
Can someone re-up the pitch demos?
-
Yeah, i wasn't talking about Britney recording the tracks but rather if some of the writers or a reference singer recorded a demo of both songs that was offered to Britney and the other artists. I'm aware Britney recorded Graffiti My Soul but we don't know if there's even a previous demo before her demo, that's what i'm talking and that's why this wasn't mentioned on the post.
-
I only added the reference tracks we know exists and/or has a performer confirmed. I didn't added those 2 because I don't know anything about their "original demos" or if these even have writer/producer/pitched demos. I remember Ina denying in Twitter that Legion (other of the Ask Embla tracks) was a Britney reject. About Father's Eyes, it's very likely it is a mistake on the music repertoires, somebody asked Ina about it but I don't remember what she said. William Orbit already debunked about this song being a Britney reject already.

I remember some users at the "Latest Leaks" thread talking and asking for a masterpost about songs offered and/or rejected by the princess of pop, and while this is not a masterpost, this could help in case somebody wants to do one or just want to know about this. Any new information, correction, etc. can be shared so i could update this. Gonna skip the tracks that Britney officially released. Keys: Italic = Britney recorded the track Bold = Track was given to another artist ...Baby One More Time era (1996-1999) Oops!... I Did It Again (1999-2000) Britney era (2000-2001) In The Zone era (2001-2003) Blackout era (2004-2007) Circus era (2007-2008) Femme Fatale era (2009-2011) Britney Jean era (2012-2013) Glory (2014-2016) B10 (2017-present) Masterpost Here's the masterpost where you will find all the leaked writer's and producer's demos, as well as reference tracks for her. Hope i did not forget anything lol:

Big Time Rush (Unreleased Infopost + Masterpost)
ConnectedColor replied to Kipper's topic in Jukebox
I never got interest on Big Time Rush unreleased (I like the released stuff) until this post appeared. There is a lot of interesting information and never expected other musicians to get what was originally for BTR. I also didn't expected Simon Curtis being originally intended to be in the group, as well as the group recording Miss Movin On. I'm definitely checking out their unreleased and also doing a throwback to the officially released stuff (along with the new singles). -
Ariana Grande I used to be a fan of her around 2018 to early 2020, then i just lost the interest on her and her music, and i don't really hear her music anymore, either old or new.
-
I've been hearing a lot of "new" songs lately: gonna mention "24 Hours" by Sky Ferreira, "Resuscitate Me" by September and "Trophy" by Charli XCX as some of the songs that i currently have on repeat.
-
Seems to be something new, i never heard it before and none of the lyrics match the unleaked titles. It seems that "One" is taken from the last line, which could mean Kerli probably has more than two "One" songs there. It gives me Weapons of Mass Creation vibes, so it's very likely it was a session for that album or at least a session from Utopia.

Update on Last Breath: the Anjulie demo is registered on BMI with her, Jonas Jeberg and Busbee credited as songwriters. Kerli is nowhere on the credits. However, considering other repertoires also have the song registered with Kerli and Jeberg as writers, it's very likely that Anjulie originally wrote it for her album then it was passed to another singer (see below) and then it was given to Kerli, who reworked it for Utopia. Also, need to mention that Anjulie instrumental sound more close to the one used by Jasmine V. (Villegas) when she performed the song back to 2011, which also has different lyrics, so it's very likely that before Kerli it was given to Jasmine first, and not that Kerli gave it to Jasmine. (She starts singing the song at 0:46)
