I would simply have changed the singles from the album, as the track listing was a consistent flow from beginning to end. I really liked Revival, but feel like we deserved better than "Kill Em with Kindness", ending the era. We deserved "Me & the Rhythm" as a single before that.

According to Complex, Selena and Interscope are re-issuing Revival for its tenth anniversary in a 2CD set. Per the website's description:

New music has been written in Montana. New single, which will have a music video, was inspired by a scene in a TV series she's been watching. More music to come in 2025. More news, re: new label, coming in the year.

I agree yet disagree; Warner/Atlantic didn't do jack for her after "Love So Soft" at all, and I feel like all of her dealings with them were brokered by her ex-husband. Admittedly, there are other artists I saw going indie first, ie: P!nk but I'm okay with her going this route. She is doing quite well with her talk show, so she has that to fall back on. I don't see her fully returning to the pop rock era, if I am being honest. I could see her genre-bending on this next project, though.

Ms. Kelly Brianne is official an independent artist. On her talk show, she revealed she'd launched her own record label, was writing music and producing music videos. Let's go!

Katy Perry – 143 (2024) 143 was not a bad album in its concept, however, some fixes could have been done to strength the overall cohesion of the album's flow, including bumping some of the 1432 bonuses to the main album, and including some other songs performed by other artists, that could have better suited an artist like Katy Perry. I would love personally loved for her to reunite with Alesso & Space Primates for the album; their collaboration in "When I'm Gone" was such a fresh sound for Perry that it could have worked real well in this album's project.
