  1. Okay, now I actually am surprised! I knew we had some straight girls on here but I didn't know we had any straight boys!
  2. They've actually been doing pretty well right? I'm not sure how involved they are in her promo as well but I like that she's been featured on some YouTube channels and had that cute little Mariah stunt a few months back.
  3. What...? Since when was cooking oil a lethal weapon? There is just way too much happening these days...
  4. Not bad actually! Although she looks sooo different in that picture... What happened to the red mohawk?
  5. The other day I was watching a TV special that the Spice Girls did back in 1998. It was back in the prime of their fame and they had a huge crowd of fans waiting inside the studio and outside too! More than having a lot of fans, though, the energy in the room was just electric and you could feel it even through the bad 90s home video quality. It occurred to me that only a handful of artists have ever achieved that real level of mania, and that I haven't seen anyone have that type of fame for quite a while. It's not just about having #1 hits or a lot of Twitter followers - it's about a whole phenomena! The last few artists that I can think of who had that type of fame would be Gaga, especially during the Born This Way era where she was selling a whole lifestyle and way of living life on top of her music; Justin Bieber during his first era; and maybe One Direction after they started blowing up in the States. With that said, I can't think of any current acts who have achieved that level of fame. The only artists I can think of who are maaaybe almost there are BTS - but even then I still feel like they're kind of "underground" outside of Korea. When it comes to pop girls, the only one I can think of who's nearing that level is maybe Ariana. She has a distinct look with her high ponytail, a very specific way of singing and writing songs, and she hasn't been out of the press ever since she released her first album. Everytime she releases an album it's a big deal! But even then I'm still kind of unsure if she'll be remembered in 50 years time in the same way as The Beatles or Michael Jackson are... What do you guys think? Are any of the new pop girls "iconic", or will they ever be? Or is it just too difficult to achieve that level of mania nowadays with media working so differently from it used to? Let me know your thoughts! And if anyone tries to argue that Cassadee Pope is "iconic" I will ban you from this forum!
  6. Oh wow... They just can't catch a break huh? Was it for the same reasons as the last explosion?
  7. I can't believe I'm getting to this so late... Sorry boo! First of all, I LOVE that vocoder effect! You have to teach me how to do that because I've been trying to learn for years! The song is really well written too, especially the chorus. I still think your production skills are your best talents so far. Keep it up boo, you have a lot to offer!
  8. Love them both! Although I wish Sweetener incorporated upside down text or something.
  9. Stefani could NEVER!
  10. No, it's not normal! We definitely need a new poll to take it's place! Does anyone have any suggestions? www.onlyfans.com/str8boywhisperer sis!
  11. She's silly. That would be the most promo she's had in years!
  12. Omg! I'm sure you're way cuter than that! I just feel like every Kerli fan must look like a 2007 scene kid.
  13. How I imagine @Moonchild:
  14. I love your hair! And you have amazing lips too! Definitely no need to be self-conscious. I have to say, you look real good in a suit!
  15. Okay, but this absolutely sent me... I haven't stopped laughing for the past five minutes!
  16. Ladies, we have a new classic on our hands!
  17. Oh girl...I love you but I think you're way off the mark with this one. Justifying an underaged girl getting literally kidnapped from their home, isolated and put in solitary confinement for days, monitored as they shower by a grown man and being strangled and physically abused with "Well, it was self-induced" ain't right at all imo. None of those things should ever happen to any child full stop, let alone by an organisation paid to do it by negligent parents.
  18. Just listened to both for the first time! Honestly, they're both really good...A lot better than some of the songs y'all have been begging for for so long. At this point she should just do a Kim Petras and put both of these songs on a Halloween EP with 'Sleepwalker'!
  19. Attitude Magazine. He's the kind of douchey guy I would definitely fuck just so I can tell everyone the story...And I know he'd be down for sure. But I don't care for his personality or music (or even his looks) much at all.
  20. I hear what you're saying, but if you didn't watch past that last point you definitely missed out on the most interesting (and surprising) part of the documentary. I'd recommend everyone skipping to around 1:10:01 of the film and just watching from there even if you can't be bothered with the first half, which to me while it had some interesting points was mostly more of the same we've heard from Paris over the past few years. Definitely worth the watch imo but I understand if you're bored with the whole thing by now!
  21. I know you're A Sexual, but there's no need to bring Home of Sensuals down! Hating John Mayer just because he's a faguette is wrong! #GayRights
  22. That's what I don't understand...The snippet does sound a little more Pharrell-y to me but I still can't imagine he'd reproduce something that Dr. Luke had a hand in. It's a weird choice, especially given that they just went back to the demo after the reworked version.
  23. I should have known our resident asexual would be in support! I think it's also just the marriage thing I don't like. Fair enough if you want to wait until you find the right person but the idea of waiting until God gives you permission...Chile...
