Not Hot City related buuuut, why was Modern Girl never released? I remember watching Insatiable and it being played there, wondering why it was not on Streaming. Lowkey would love it for a Deluxe / Side B, since it fits the whole Hot City Vibe.

Yes! Dave is David Morup. He reworked a lot of the songs with her, he also produced a lot of her new album.

Do you guys hear any differences between the Hot City version of Sleepwalker and the one she released in 2018? Someone on ATRL said there’s some differences in the mastering but I can’t hear anything.

Yeah, the version on the album is closer to the OG mix from the video/soundcloud. The mix from 2018 is a bit different, a detail that I can remember from the top of my head rn is the "ah ah" right before the second verse, it's kinda mute on the album/og version, but it's super clear on the 2018 single version.

Which one do you think is better? I’m not really a fan of Sleepwalker in general, do you think I’d prefer the 2018 version more?

As far as I can remember, the biggest difference is that the 2018 release has boosted bass… it was a trend in mixing at the time

Btw, I still haven't fully processed that we FINALLY have this album!!!! This is so iconic. I will forever (21) be in love with this project. Both for the music, which is iconic, and also for the fact that this album represents resilience and not giving up. It's been a difficult story, but with a really nice and happy ending!
