  1. yep. It was sarcastic partially. Men are needed for more than that of course. But the women part was actually something I deeply believe in. What about gay men? It's a hard topic, which I thought about MANY times.
  2. IMO, men (especially those heterosexual) tend to think with their dicks instead of brains. It is mostly seen during the period of growing up. When I was in secondary school, boys were always talking about sex. Girls are very objectified by such boys. They talk about them as they are sex toys. I think that male rape is not mentioned that much, cause it's hardly ever considered something bad by men. They hardly ever complain about it after all. Again, there are cases where it is harmful to somebody's mental health. However, we hear about women rape more often, because they know it's bad, they have the courage to speak about it publicly. What is more, I really don't like this stereotype about the family model, where women should stay at home and take care of children and home, while men are gruff lumberjacks. IMO women (sorry for generalization) are more emotional and sensitive. They are easily emotionally attached to children. Of course, there are some pathological, extreme situations where mothers beat the shit out of their children, or there's alcohol abuse involved, but It is rare. On the other hand, men, in most cases, find it difficult to be so emotionally attached. They want to set a good example for their kids. They want to teach them more practical aspects of life. Maybe it sounds kinda stereotypical, but I think it's true. When it comes to me, I have a really great contact with children and I like taking care of them tho. To conclude, in my humble opinion, men are needed only to inseminate women. They are deprived of any emotions and women, if they wanted, could do everything men are supposed to do by themselves.

  8. Two explosions shook Istanbul’s main airport on Tuesday evening, and at least 11 people were killed and 36 wounded, Turkish officials said. Turkish officials told Reuters that suspects blew themselves up before passing the x-ray security check. Separately, an official told the Associated Press it was unclear whether the explosions were caused by bombs or a suicide attack. Witnesses and Turkish media reported that gunfire was heard. Local television outlets broadcast images of soldiers armed with assault rifles entering the Ataturk airport. A witness told CNN Turk that injured people were being taken away in taxis, Reuters reported. Turkey has been rocked by a series of bombings in recent months. Officials have variously blamed Kurdish separatists or Islamic State militants for the attacks.

  20. Kelly Clarkson - who had been signed to Sony Music's RCA Records label since winning the first season of American Idol in 2002 - announced on Friday, June 24 that she's moving to Atlantic Records as part of a long-term worldwide deal. Clarkson's first order of business on the Warner Music Group label will be recording an album for 2017 that will draw on soul music and R&B for inspiration. "We have already started creating a record that I have been wanting to make since I was a little girl and a record that fans have been asking me to make for years. Here's to the future!" the original Idol said in a statement. Clarkson's move away from RCA shouldn't come as a shock. Her relationship with the label - and former chairman/CEO Clive Davis - was sometimes rocky, with the release of her 2007 album My December being especially contentious. In a press release announcing the Atlantic signing, Clarkson referred to her longtime partnership with RCA as an "arranged marriage." "After winning American Idol there was an arranged marriage that occurred that sometimes worked out and sometimes resulted in the hardest experiences of my life,” Clarkson said. To celebrate the new deal, Clarkson posted four fan-requested covers on her website: Coldplay’s “Fix You,” Radiohead’s “Creep,” Etta James’s “I’d Rather Go Blind,” and India Arie’s “Ready For Love.”
