had a nice convo with Bonnie tonight at Lu Kala's LA show. she said she's excited for HC deluxe, mentioned her other album she has 75% done, and is itching to make new new music that's kinda darker but still danceable. she's such a sweetheart, such a warm light energy. also i told her how much i love Sexin U lol she kinda laughed and was like 'yeah a lot of fans like that one' 😁

THANK GOD in my opinion because I can't wait for her to actually release new music (that we don't have demos of). In summary I was super impressed by her work ethic in getting this done and her commitment to the fans that wanted these tracks (I'm pretty sure that if it was up to her she would have moved on already). I also feel she feels to much what people say about the tracks and the changes made to the demos, it was always a battle in her mind if she should make changes to the tracks or not but doesn't want fans to be upset . I kinda wanted to give her a hug at the end (I wish she would just release what she likes and trust her artistic vision without worrying about fans reaction... edit: the remix is Electric Heaven, NOT RYH

Ava Max - Violins & Vengeance (2025) It works as a rebranding of her third album Don't Click Play, which had a terrible rollout and a tracklist just as messy. As much as I love Lost Your Faith, I don't think it should've been a single. It works better as an album-only track. First, it borrows tracks scrapped from both Diamonds & Dancefloors and Don't Click Play, although realistically it wouldn't be quite likely since her relationship with Cirkut and Madison Love ended. I even thought of sneaking Wild Thing (from Heaven & Hell) as it fits the revenge theme and stuff, but it didn't work as I planned. Still I tried to keep a cohesive narrative-esque order with the songs. I cut two tracks in the end, Never Be Yours (it fits thematically right after Spot a Fake but it's too demoish) and Take It All (while it fits lyrically, I think it's not as strong as the rest of the album). I still think Wild Thing should've had a home here, but I don't know where to put it. Maybe in the second half (replacing Sucks to Be My Ex? inofensive bop but WT is superior). It is also retitled to continue with the dual motifs of her first and second albums. It would work as two halves, tracks 1-7 and 8-14. Finally it happened for me, right in front of my face and I just can't hide it 🎵 Had to change my name cause BUBBLEGUM LEAKED? It's so weird tbh. I've waited so many years, a decade and a half, and even tho it's just a song, it's from a great time in my life with someone I truly loved more than anyone else, someone who I haven't been with in also 15 years, miss dearly, or maybe the idea of him and that time, and still have literal dreams of what could have been. So in a way, it's the end of that chapter, unfortunately not in a mental sense because no matter how hard I try, still have random dreams about him and I wake up depressed for days. I don't think about him unless I have a dream the night before. And it makes me miserable because I'm at the lowest of my life currently and a completely different person that I was just 5 years ago, the opposite, and it's my own fault but once you get into this mindset and let your mental health and physical health go, it's hard to recoup from it and that's where I'm at. It hurts knowing your just a shell of yourself, and you know you can fix it but can't will it, at least right now. So anyway. Metaphorically can close that chapter and finally listen to my most wanted song ever. 😂

Ava Max - Snake Eyes (2025) Again, I tried reformatting her third album Don't Click Play into something more cohesive and less all over the place. Also, the visual part of this era was a mess, her bringing back the Max Cut for like two months, and overall it was just chaotic and not in a good way. This rework sounds more marketable and the chances of a successful era would've been bigger imo. I had to get rid of a couple album tracks (maybe slightly controversial but I removed "Don't Click Play", I can't stand it, and also "Lovin Myself"), in favour of the scrapped singles and a couple other unreleased songs: "Wild Thing" because it would've fit perfectly in this vision even if it's from Heaven & Hell, along with "The Cards", which is a bop. Kim Petras recently took to Twitter to vent her frustrations over her contract with Republic Records. Despite her album Detour being finished for six months and having a self-funded music video being ready to go, the Dr Luke-owned record label is still refusing to give her concrete release dates for new music Unexpectedly, she found a surprise supporter in Kesha, who tweeted words of support! I feel like so much of Kim's career has had a red mark on it because of her ex-producer and people's perception of this beef with her and Kesha. It warms my heart to see them supporting each other and I hope now Kim isn't working with Luke anymore we can finally put this rivalry to rest!

Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon (10th Anniversary Edition) I mean, more than fixing the era (back in 2015, if Freak and Art Deco were released as singles it would've been amazing), I'm making a 10th anniversary edition (she seems to be allergic to them). The artwork could be the same, or any alternate using basically any picture of the main photoshoot, all are really good and could work. I imagine Lana delayed the release of Say Yes to Heaven until summer 2025, as the lead single off the 10th anniversary reissue of Honeymoon. If this was a regular album rollout, I'd pick these as singles to promote it: "Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party" "Glum" "Love Me Different" "Kill Me" "Hard"

i think it's mostly true since one of the tracks for example had a Chris Brown feature, i doubt that was just for a little non-promoted EP we know that she re-wrote Tie A Cherry and HWA from english to korean, probably did the same for that song above, i suspect the Anne-Marie demo No Lover Like Me is an old english song she had lying around from the original album. CL was never signed to a label so everything is essentially from the same sessions, i think they would be mostly self funded.

This was in the context of options she had outside of Epic Records, not for now. She said Jimmy Iovine presented her 2x with a deal (he left Interscope in 2014, so I'm guessing it was somewhere in 2012 and 2013). But yeah, I'm happy she is independent now. Bombastic EP was the big example as to why staying independent works out for her
