  1. I know it's been months but I'm still absolutely floored at the amount of time, energy and MONEY she put into re-releasing, re-recording and shooting videos and undertaking amazing photo shoots for Hot City. The way the whole thing came to life is just INSANE and I am so so grateful. After what felt like 10 years of screeching for her to release an album, she came through in such a big big way. I'm so grateful. Artists talk a lot about "loving" their fans but Bonnie truly truly truly came through with what was truly a labour of love for her fans. PLUS also to herself - doing justice to what always was an incredible, poptastic project that had no right being shelved or kept from her fans who loved it. So a big pat on the back for Bonnie, and for the fans who supported her throughout her career.

  2. had a nice convo with Bonnie tonight at Lu Kala's LA show. she said she's excited for HC deluxe, mentioned her other album she has 75% done, and is itching to make new new music that's kinda darker but still danceable. she's such a sweetheart, such a warm light energy. also i told her how much i love Sexin U lol she kinda laughed and was like 'yeah a lot of fans like that one' 😁

  3. I know it must be a hard pill to swallow, being that she was writing all these #1 singles, but to hear her say that she doesn't care about chart position and wanted to put out this album for the fans, carries more weight than any artist thanking their fans. Recognizing all the money, effort, time, etc that Bonnie has put into getting Hot City out, and now finding all these interview opportunities herself to further promo the album, Bonnie really is the PHF Queen!

  4. copy pasted from atrl: Bonnie did a little live on her Substack and confirmed all of this: These are the confirmed tracks on Hot City Deluxe: Wild Card (originally written for Britney, it was the hardest song to get clearance for... with the label and stuff, might get a feature she is still debating) Somebody's gonna Get Hurt (also a bit of a headache to get the approval for release since it was payed in full by Epic, but she did it) Dashboard Outlaw Last Call Lover (it was discussed it might be too good to be in the deluxe?? so it might be released as a stand alone single, but she promises it's going to be released either way) Rewind Your Heart (with a feature, she did not say who) She's going to be uploading a link for her short film «April Kills the Vibe» in her Substack (if any of you want to support her ) She showed some Hot City merch that is coming to her shop (actually VERY cute! the best graphics tees i've seen from her) The music video for Forever 21 was accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival, she'll be in New York next week. If any of you are there, she said she'll happily sign stuff and meet you She said that going through the vault again for the deluxe was a pain but she's happy it is done and that she can move on from this songs. THANK GOD in my opinion because I can't wait for her to actually release new music (that we don't have demos of). In summary I was super impressed by her work ethic in getting this done and her commitment to the fans that wanted these tracks (I'm pretty sure that if it was up to her she would have moved on already). I also feel she feels to much what people say about the tracks and the changes made to the demos, it was always a battle in her mind if she should make changes to the tracks or not but doesn't want fans to be upset . I kinda wanted to give her a hug at the end (I wish she would just release what she likes and trust her artistic vision without worrying about fans reaction... edit: the remix is Electric Heaven, NOT RYH

  5. I find it disheartening that she would honestly work with Luke. I know every rapper would sell out and do a song with him for a paycheck. She clearly noticed what Bonnie was doing and bringing back real pop music and decided she could do it better. However with that Horrid snippe, I have to disagree. She’s just gonna flop without Bonnie’s lyrics anyways. That’s what she does. Doesn’t Katy know she made this song already in 2013, called International Smile. It’s redundant at best. Just an opinion😅

  6. I know the public is arguing that 2024 is the year of Charli, Chappell & Sabrina, but 2024 is really the year of Bonnie. Let's be real.

  7. Considering how scarce were her releases after the Bombastic EP, I'm so grateful by how many things Bonnie has given us just this year: apart from the Hot City album, which was already a huge deal obviously, and would be enough to satisfy the fans, she also graced us with 2 more music videos, Rendezvous in partnership with Spotify, two EPs with additional versions of American Girl and Sleepwalker, and a tour (for those lucky enough to live in the United States). Not to mention the physical copies of Hot City. I really appreciate that, I hope she continues to be this prolific.

  8. Someone (I assume one of you) asked her about it and by her response I don't think she has any control over it, but one can always hope her team get in contact with the label to sort it out

  9. Bebe Rexha - All Your Fault, Pt. 3 EP (scrapped in favour of Expectations) While no official draft of the EP tracklist has been revealed, with the leak of The Little Things (one of the two only confirmed tracks intended) I wanted to search a little bit about this scrapped project. The only confirmed songs were The Little Things and Nothing at All, the latter being repurposed for Expectations and eventually scrapped again. Apparently, she teased Apple, Cry Wolf, Ferrari and Naughty to be possibly released, from which Ferrari ended up in Expectations and a demo of Naughty was released on SoundCloud. Apple had been previously cut from AYF2, and Cry Wolf is an outtake from I Don't Wanna Grow Up. So we have this potential songs list: The Little Things (confirmed) Nothing at All (confirmed, then repurposed for Expectations upon EP cancelation and scrapped again) Apple (possibly, previously cut from AYF2) Cry Wolf (possibly, previously cut from IDWGU) Ferrari (possibly, repurposed for Expectations upon EP cancelation) Naughty (possibly, released for free on SoundCloud) It's a weird list, I wonder which other AYF outtakes would've been in consideration for the third part (Bed, Death of Me, Fell in Love with a Stranger, Like a Baby, Take It Off, Rome Is Burning rework...)

  10. Wild Card, Outlaw, Somebody’s Gonna Get Hurt, Dashboard, Last Call Lover (possibly as a standalone single instead of on the deluxe) and an Electric Heaven remix with a feature (possibly Bebe Rexha?)

  12. I’m so happy she did CD’s
a lot of artist’s don’t care to nowadays, but they’re actually very profitable. It’s also so refreshing to own the music physically, and very stress-reducing. If something ever goes wrong with the distribution, I’ll always own the CD!

  13. Tbh I'm happy with what we've already gotten. Self funding 5 recent videos with 2 older videos for this album is more than I can ever dream! The fact that we got the album is already the gift of the year ❀

  14. Love Spell, Soundtrack to the End, Sexin U and Last Call Lover are a must! Sugar Rush would also be nice, and while Restless is not from those sessions, I think it could fit with the summer vibes as well 😎

  15. Also remembered this about Britney's Femme Fatale: -There wasn't a final tracklist until late February of 2011, she was still recording music in February, but the only song we know off is Big Fat Bass. -According to an alleged Insider in Pop Justice forum, Switch You On and Antidote were part of the early 2011 tracklist but they were dropped in exchange of other tracks, including Will.i.ams. Switch You On is registered in ASCAP under Fraser T Smith and Nicole Morier, but the latter's surname name is misspelled as "Mourier" which makes me question it's legitimately. (Take the whole thing with a grain of salt) -Darkchild worked with Britney on more songs than the ones that made the cut, one was called Push My Detonator and the other one is titled Dirty White T-Shirt, co-written by Mickey Shiloh. This information comes from a person on ATRL who claimed to have ties with someone on Darkchild'a camp but seems legitimate, as there's a song called "Detonator" registered on BMI under Jerkins' and Shiloh's names.

  17. Sometimes I still can't believe we have Hot City, the album. Let alone on vinyl! If it came out in 2014, for sure it wouldn't be on vinyl and we all know Epic Records would never do a vinyl re-release because they hate their artists. #Justice4Karmin

  18. she did the Halloween EP for real!!! awesome idea. no new music just a Sleepwalker remix but the cover is great and now the LVCRFT songs have a home.

  19. I... don't think the parts she teased are the new versions. She said she was going to dig up some old tracks (as opposite to her already having done it), so I guess she took the old versions and teased them. That's why Sexin U still sounds unfinished af, I didn't hear no difference compared to the leaked file.

  21. Okay it’s official: if Bonnie finds a way to get SGGH officially released she will be THE ultimate cult gay icon. She really has given the gays everything they could ever dream of with Hot City, going above and beyond even my wildest dreams.

  23. The cloud hosting website DBREE which was a treasure trove for leaked music and often used to share songs within discussion boards has revealed they have lost access to the files stored on their server, due to a data centre being destroyed in the ongoing war. All downloads will lead to a statement that almost feels like an eerie reminder of the state of the world right now. Their statement: 15/05/2024 We have a disk failure on our main file server, and for the last month we have been trying our best to get the disk replaced. The main file server is located in a country torn by conflict and war. The data centre where our main file server is located has also been partially damaged which has taken our Internet connection offline. Thankfully the staff operating the data centre are all safe. However, the engineers maintaining the hardware for the data centre have not been able to safely access the site for the last month. While we understand this may be frustrating for our users we need to be mindful that there are more important things in life than zeros and ones. We are a free cloud storage provider and have never asked our users to contribute in order to keep our operations running. We thank you for your continued patience, and if are unable to access a file again then please pause for a moment, and remember to be grateful that you are alive. If there are any further developments we will share this with you. Regards, Team Ops Team Ops

  24. BONNIE IF YOU'RE READING THE FORUM RIGHT NOW, DO NOT INCLUDE ANY SONGS FROM THE BOMBASTIC EP PLEASE!! That was a separate project, and we love and appreciate it for what it was, but it does not need to be apart of Hot City era, whatsoever. The people asking you for this stuff don't appreciate your artistry, and probably know nothing about how the album came to be. HOWEVER, please release Outlaw, we need it mastered and reworked.

  25. Some of these request are
like who the hell wants to put already released Bombastic songs on it? or Stud Muffin? or Thorns (she can re-use it for BM3 tho, wouldn’t be mad). Let’s hope she already chose songs for the deluxe and won’t listen to some of these comments

  26. Omg time really flies, I cannot believe this week this wonderful album turns 1. Still bopping to it very very often, and still can't believe we finally got it. It's so surreal, it all. Can't wait for the deluxe! Which I forgot was still coming lol

  27. I'm guessing the feature on Electric Heaven is Bebe Rexha, no? She recently followed her on IG even though they've had worked together before.

  28. Okay just subscribed to the non-free version Bonnie's Substack and it's still WIP apparently, there's no chat yet and there's only the vid of All Yours she also published on Insta along with some stuff she wanted to share about how songwriting Pop music works. Excited to see what's coming next tho!

  29. Now I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but I'm guessing she'll release it around the one year anniversary of Hot City's release! Which I think would be so iconic.

  30. She said back in December that the deluxe will come this year. Personally I doubt she'll do physicals for it, but she can always surprise us!

  34. wish we did icl. I think all we know is that the album had these tracks: One Obsession 17 Haters Anonymous Traces Sex Rules 108 99 Tears Too Many Boys American Dream (Unconfirmed, tho the producer, FrankMusick, was said to have been on the album, tho this was the only song he recorded with Sky) I think Untouchable was on the album at one point since she posted the final snippet on her soundcloud. Cobra also has a finished format so maybe that was on the album too. Watcha Gonna Do was a B Side to One, could have been on the album, maybe not. Speaking of scrapped albums with currently missing drafts, I NEED the Poppy Bubblebath album tracklist. It was most likely finished since it had a set release date in 2015.

  35. Following the highly-acclaimed Spirit, Echo was Leona Lewis' second studio album. It saw her working with many "name" producers, such as: Max Martin, Harvey Mason Jnr, John Shanks & Ryan Tedder, among others, however, Syco⏀much like with the release of Spirit⏀mishandled the fuck out of this era. "Happy" was the album's lead single and while praised by critics, I felt like it provided a false start to the era, and isn't a single-worthy release. I would have kicked-off the era with its second single, "I Got You" and went from there. Praised as the next Mariah Carey, CĂ©line Dion & Whitney Houston, I do believe Lewis was always set up to fail by Syco and her management, and it's unfortunate because of her powerful gift. Track listing Happy I Got You Love Letter Can't Breathe You Don't Care Outta My Head Brave My Hands Alive Don't Let Me Down Fly Here Now Broken Naked Singles I Got You Can't Breathe Outta My Head Don't Let Me Down Broken

  41. I'm also surprised at her response to the Katy question. Katy hasn't texted her since 2020?? I also thought Bonnie was sorta dodging her true thoughts on "Woman's World" and then once they start talking about the video, it all came falling down. I also love that she praised Kesha's "Joyride"! (even though they don't keep in touch ) Bonnie truly is the queen of pop music. She knows what a good song sounds like and what a good video looks like! This is why we stan Bonnie!

  42. I'd love to see "Everything But You" get the single treatment. It makes me irrationally upset that it's the least streamed song on the album (on Spotify anyway). I'm sure it's a result of it being towards the end of the tracklist. It deserves it's moment in the sun! Otherwise I think "Rewind Your Heart" would be a perfect final single in the fall. I don't know why, but that song has always given me a breezy autumn vibe.
