Florrie - Florrie (2016)

This works as a reimagining of the infamous scrapped Sony album, allegedly titled Trouble in the Making and set for release in 2014-2015, promoted with singles like "Little White Lies", "Too Young to Remember" and "Live a Little". In 2016, the era was reset with "Real Love" as its lead single, but it was scrapped altogether again shortly after. It's unconfirmed whether she did two albums with Sony (Trouble in the Making in 2014 and another one with "Real Love" as a lead single in 2015-2016, rumoured to be titled Florrie), but I decided to merge these two potential projects to make a more commercial proposal for her original debut album using most of the sessions available for both records.

The most notable difference with the Trouble in the Making project is the remotion of the Sirens material (often included in Trouble in the Making fanmade tracklists), which is a little more experimental than the other songs. Also, it proposes a different choice for the singles, leaving "Little White Lies" and "Live a Little" as album tracks, and adding "Hungry Like a Wolf", "Galaxies" and "Turn the World Upside Down" as tracks to promote the record in aid for a more commercial appeal.

The album would have been released on 22 April 2016, with three singles preceding it, and two more singles after the album's release to extend the promotion through spring and summer 2016. All singles would have had music videos, and Florrie would've embarked on a little tour over Europe and North America to promote the record. And Sony would've been MUCH happier with the commercial outcome if you ask me.

I get why this scrapped honestly. Tried to make this as cohesive as I could. Also first time clocking into Ally's solo music and it just feels so commercially condensed but I love The Truth Is In There and Fabulous. Everything else screams tiktok hit louder than Nicki out of coke and tolerance for mention of her husband.

So grateful (no pun intended) that we got more leaks from this album. This could have been a fantastic record, I mean lets not lie, Religion would have been a smash hit if it was released as a single.

I added some remixes for the second disc to make it feel more like a real release as this was common practice back in the day. I know @Prince of the Dark split this into two albums (O & Rati) based on their respected sounds and they both work so well but i think they make a wonderful merge. Given the material we have now and the more we get I will ALWAYS curse Jay Z and the rest of Roc Nation for fumbling this album, I'm so serious when I say this album could have been a smash.
