Cheryl-02MessyLittleRaindropsEU.jpg

This album was doomed from the beginning. Written and recorded following her near-death experience with malaria, Messy Little Raindrops was simply that: messy. The album had two singles and only one was successful: "Promise This". Through the Shadows is an alternate title I would've given the album, or even Spread Your Wings, both lyrics from "Promise This", which would've felt more... promising for the album. I also would have included re-recorded edits (to match the album's dance-pop production) the b-sides "Boys" & "Just Let Me Go" from 3 Words, because they would have fit so well for this project. I also would have forged ahead with the planned third single, "Everyone" with Dizzee Rascal as the album's second single, instead of "The Flood" (which, while a cute song, was not single-worthy).

Track listing

  1. Promise This
  2. Yeah Yeah (feat. Travie McCoy)
  3. Live Tonight
  4. Amnesia
  5. Everyone (feat. Dizzee Rascal)
  6. Boys
  7. Hummingbird
  8. Better to Lie (feat. August Rigo)
  9. Just Let Me Go
  10. Happy Tears
  11. The Flood
  12. Waiting

Singles

  1. Promise This
  2. Everyone (feat. Dizzee Rascal)
  3. Just Let Me Go
  4. Amnesia
  5. Yeah Yeah (feat. Travie McCoy)

Bebe Rexha - Expectations (22 June 2018).

Let me introduce a brand new artwork as the original is pretty much something I dislike:

bebe-rexha-expectations-moonchild-new-cover.jpg

This version omits previously released songs "I Got You" and "Meant to Be" (they don't fit in the album + they were on EPs already) and has a better rollout, allowing a longer era that extends through most of the year.

Singles:

  1. "I'm a Mess" (8 February 2018)
  2. "Knees" (13 April 2018)
  3. "Ferrari" (25 May 2018)
  4. "The Little Things" (13 July 2018, post-album)
  5. "2 Souls on Fire" (14 September 2018, post-album)

Tracklist:

  1. Ferrari
  2. I'm a Mess
  3. 2 Souls on Fire (feat. Quavo)
  4. Shining Star
  5. Knees
  6. Self Control
  7. The Little Things
  8. Sad
  9. Steady (feat. Tory Lanez)
  10. Pillow
  11. Matches
  12. Grace
  13. Nothing at All Target/Japanese bonus track; included as a b-side on the "Knees" single release

Also some b-sides for the singles:

  • "Don't Get Any Closer", b-side for "I'm a Mess".
  • "Nothing at All", b-side for "Knees", later included as a Target/Japanese bonus track.
  • "Grave", b-side for "Ferrari".
  • "Distract Me", b-side for "The Little Things".
  • "Mine", b-side for "2 Souls on Fire".

Now this, right here, would have been an absolute SLAY of a good time.

I wanted to give eras for Kerli's terrible limbo with her second album (2009-2013). This is divided into three albums instead.

Kerli - Army of Angels (2009). This is marketed as her second studio album, which further explores the rock sounds introduced in Love Is Dead.

  1. Army of Angels 1st single
  2. Stranger 4th single
  3. Nature Boy
  4. Red Flags 2nd single
  5. I'll Find You 3rd single
  6. Moonflower
  7. Now or Never
  8. Not a Barbie Doll
  9. What You See Ain't What You Get
  10. End of the World
  11. Insomnia
  12. Save Myself

Kerli - I.Nimene (2010). Marketed as her third studio album, which shows a shift in sound to a more pop/rock and pop direction.

  1. All the Way
  2. Scream
  3. When You Cry 2nd single
  4. Black & Yellow
  5. Skyscraper 1st single
  6. Dirt in the Glitter
  7. Leave It to the Rain
  8. Never Even Tried
  9. Hungover
  10. Too Much Is Never Enough 3rd single
  11. Immortal
  12. Tea Party Target bonus track

Kerli - Weapons of Mass Creation (2011). This would be her fourth studio album, much more electropop influenced.

  1. Weapons of Mass Creation
  2. Bullet
  3. Army of Love 1st single
  4. Blow the Speakers Up 3rd single
  5. Get Away with Murder (feat. Jayson DeZuzio)
  6. Music Is Dead
  7. Love Bomb 4th single
  8. Dollface 2nd single
  9. Happy Pill
  10. Angel
  11. Heart Line
  12. XO

And then Utopia would be her fifth album in 2013, with the 12-song tracklist that leaked.

I can have them ready for download in a couple days as all I mentioned is leaked. I'll just need to see what could use some remaster or anything, make some artworks and then I'll zip them for y'all <3

I LOVE Blue Skies Ahead but iirc it's from later, probably 2013-14? That's why I removed it but I initially had it on Weapons indeed. ngl such a shame Kerli leaks tend to come in mediocre quality, mostly older ones like 90% of the Love Is Dead outtakes. I hope we someday get some og files too, we need them!

people dont like those songs? i honestly never understood entirely how people aren't fond of this album in terms of the songs on the tracklist (aside from the title track ofc). its really just empowerment katy, something shes been doing since teenage dream. imo the album's issue is mostly a lack of cohesion (not including small talk was a choice + nro as an opener is okay) and it feels like it appeals to the millenials and not katy's fanbase yk?
