On October 27th, 2024 SM Entertainment announced the release of TAEYEON's 6th Korean language mini album, 'Letter to Myself' with a release date of November 18th, 2024. It contains 6 tracks, including the title track which was accompanied by it's music video on the same day. A prologue teaser for the track 'Disaster', was shared on November 4th. Highlight clips for other tracks such as 'Blur', 'Hot Mess', 'Strangers', 'Blue Eyes' and 'Disaster' were shared between November 7th and November 13th. Teasers for the music video of 'Letter to Myself' were released on November 14th and November 15th. The mini album was described as "pop-rock with r&b influences". Live performance clips for the tracks 'Letter to Myself', 'Blur' and 'Disaster' were released via YouTube on November 21st, November 25th and November 27th. Unlike her previous extended plays, there appear to be no co-writes from TAEYEON. 'Hot Mess' was co-written by American singer-songwriter UPSAHL. You can tell it's not AI cause the vocals are clear and contain background vocals that would be hard to replicate or whatever with AI. It's really cute! Oh how I miss when pop music meant something to people. Someone take me back to 2013 when songs had intros, verses, hooks, bridges and outros!!!

I was going to share something I made that I thought was really interesting, but now I'm just like why bother? I'm not expecting anything I make to blow up and be trendy or whatever, but it just really hurts when it gets zero reactions. Its not that even a big deal idk maybe I'm bipolar. I loved this! I've always loved this song! I made a TAEYEON version, which I shared a snippet of on here before I believe. It was actually one of the first songs I ever did for my first ever AI model. Sounds so beautiful and with very little AI vocal effects!
