I always thought the song sounded strange on H&H compared to the rest of the record, but for some reason, I also have a hard time hearing it in Bonnie's voice. I can totally hear it in Eden's though.

Yes! It premiered with a 94% RT Critics and I believe it currently sits at 91%! I'm a big fan of Flanagan and have been following his career for a long time. I've even seen his low-budget student films! If you have the time, I recommend at least watching his first 3 Netflix series: The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass (in addition to this new show). They are all very strong projects that stand on their own, but end up being elevated by each other due to references and shared cast members!

I love that she praises Lana Del Rey, Kylie Minogue, Kesha, and also has a healthy mindset about the numbers. It's really humble for her to recognize that the industry has changed from when she was at her career peak and keeping her chin up. I hope she holds onto this because it's hard for independent artists and she's one of the hardest workers!

I agree! The slower intro caught me off guard, but the polish really makes such a difference. It's been touched up, cleaned up, and tightened! I didn't necessarily think the og was "annoying" but I would find the speed of the song a little tiresome after a few listens. The production on this version totally removes those feelings!

I LOVE. I can't believe how well everything has been during this rebirth era, considering she's funding it all herself and DIY a lot of the sets, costumes, etc. Bonnie truly deserves her flowers and more
