  1. I will never be a vegan. If eating meat kills me, it was nice knowing y'all!
  2. I don't think my parents were actually that strict. I held extremely high standards for myself growing up, so if anything, I have self-induced pressure towards success. But I guess that's why I don't relate to Paris' story. As a kid, I always used logic to explain my stance or dreams. I would have long-term plans drawn out so my parents couldn't disagree with my ideas.
  3. I don't necessarily agree with all the treatment she received, especially the parts with grown men is too much and wildly unchecked. The part that's self-induced is her behaviour prior. On a personal level, I didn't act out the way she did, so my parents never considered sending me to boarding school or any other type of correctional facility. I do know someone close to me that did. She was sent to a therapeutic boot camp in the desert where she had to go through some pretty physically strenuous activity. Luckily she didn't have to deal with any questionable behaviour by staff. After, she said
  4. I have no idea if this exists, but a solo version of Julia Michaels singing "Friends"! I still love the remix featuring her vocals, but a fully solo version would be simply amazing.
  5. All right, I finally got to the "kidnap/boarding school" bit. Let's be honest, if her parents told her she was being sent to boarding school, do you really think she would've stayed home and have gone willingly? Because of her entitled behaviour, she really didn't give her parents too many options. That being said, her parents also weren't very well equipped with dealing with Paris' entitlement, which may have stemmed from the parents themselves. As for the treatment in the boarding school, yeah solitary confinement sucks, but she also put herself in there based on her actions. She keeps
  6. I'll have to give it another shot from that point tomorrow! I can only take so much in one day.
  7. Hah, no. The part that irks me is the "I can outgay this guy right now." But I've never been a fan of him, so this just cements my general apathy towards him.
  8. I finally caved and watched it. First of all, thank god she has a normal, non-pitched up voice. I thought she genuinely talked at that pitch and it's always bugged the crap out of me. I'm going to Spoiler my thoughts because it's quite numerous, but it all bubbles down to my annoyance of her and her lack of recognizing privilege. I do believe that Paris is an extraordinary business woman who has been able to work the image the public cemented her to be. I don't think she's a slouch when it comes to understanding the market and exercising her image. Thank you hard work and privilege.
  9. I've never been a fan of John Mayer and this really isn't helping...
  10. I didn't watch/read how the news was given, but yeah, I agree; being a virgin doesn't make you above others strictly by merit, but owning it is just as great as the next person who owns their sexual life. Be comfortable with your decisions.
  11. tbh, props. I can't think of anybody else in Hollywood who can say the same thing.
  12. She did! What if both of them demoed it. What it would be to hear both of their voices.
  13. Did Bonnie ever record a version of Naked that appeared on Ava's album? For some reason, I remember her having a song called Naked from back in the day, but I could easily be confusing it with the many many other songs called Naked by the many many other artists.
  14. tbh, Miranda could have easily been derailed early on and gone the route of some other child stars, but she's always seemed to keep a pretty solid foot on the ground. I applaud her for choosing higher education and afaik being pretty much problem/drama-free. While I do hope the rest of the songs surface, I also hope she's able to get back in the studio and record some new material she enjoys and find the next step in her career.
  15. gdi, I thought I had more dislikes. I only have 303 dislikes. Let's start the #CancelCypher trend.
  16. I'm all for a Christmas album, as it seems to be a right of passage, but why is this coming out the day before Halloween? I get that Halloween is cancelled this year, but Christmas isn't for 2 months following.
  17. Such a shock, honestly. It's insane that he's been going through this and putting on such a strong front. Prayers go out to the family during this time.
  18. oh shit she's a machine. tbh, I haven't gotten in too deep with her material, but from what I've heard, she's definitely on my watch list. I keep downloading the new stuff that leaks meaning to get around to checking it out, and then more leak and I lose track.
  19. Is anyone available to give me a quick rundown on how Kelsea has so many unreleased songs? Her level of material rivals that of Kesha or Gaga. Are a lot of these songs old? Or does she write a lot of material for each album and pick the top 12, leaving her unreleased collection a variety of leftovers from each era?
  20. Is it bad that I can't stop thinking about when Gaga said she was pregnant with LG6? Katy was pregnant with KP5 and Daisy Dove Bloom. Congratulations to her and I'm happy for her! Thinking about to her Part of Me movie, I remember the part where she said she wasn't ready for kids cause she still feels like a kid. To see her grow as an artist and a person from then to now, it's clear that she's not destined to just be a pop starlet. I appreciate that she's more vulnerable in this album and has been speaking up about her internal dialogue. I think this was a good move sonically and lyrically and
  21. Liam Payne's entire LP1 album. smh.
  22. If y'all haven't heard the incredibly sad news, a large explosion (some reports state there were 2 separate blasts) has rocked the city of Beirut, the capital city of Lebanon. So far, CNN has reported 73 confirmed deaths and injuries upwards of 3,000. Hearts and prayers go out to all those affected during this time.
