From the ones she hasn't mentioned, I'd love her to include Jenny, Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt, Worst In Me and Everything But You, and also Wild Card and Show Me Your Love just because we haven't heard them.

She should do CDs instead! And maybe with that and the coin from, er, performances, she could fund some vinyls eventually... (I only care for CDs and luckily they are like waaaaay cheaper to produce). Okay so she apparently has """"""confirmed"""""" the following: Electric Heaven (reworked!!!!) Hot City I Wanna Fucking Call You S.L.A.Y. Forever 21 And then Right Now is very in doubt like the rest of the album for what we know and Don't Get Mad, Get Famous is most likely not making it but she could drop it for the trends I guess? Even if she only dropped the 5 songs listed above as an EP it would make up for this wait but I'd prefer a full album tbh and she could also move to the """other""" album she apparently had plans to release in 2019.

I think Die Happy could've been recorded in 2015 after Bombastic was released, with plans of putting it out in like 2017/18? Maybe, like from the earliest sessions from the Thorns 'era' (2017-18).

Yeah it's true, I just had mild hopes they would be able to fund a potential hit. Ava has been doing well, but probably not enough for Atlantic's standards. And Bonnie, well, she hasn't been around lately so it's likely they wouldn't want to spend on her.

Now what I don't know is why the hell Bonnie is not making an Ava feature, if they already wrote together at least two songs (and Naked is an absolute bop). I guess they could finish Never Forget You with, er, good lyrics and make it a quickie hit so it starts gaining traction (or start a brand new song together, whatever). Doesn't matter the song ends up being out of the album. In the end, Ava is right now in the spotlight and Bonnie has ALREADY WRITTEN WITH HER so use that Queen! + Avatars would be a great pressure for Bonnie to release material sooner because we're used to Ava releasing constantly

If she hasn't been willing to release the album in a, er, traditional way with prior promotion and singles, she is in no way going to do a surprise drop one of these days, nor will she dare to release it without any well-going single prior. It's pretty logic to me. Not even big acts do it that way, besides Beyoncé I guess? The rest cultivate a preparation for the album. Adele, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, Florence, Lorde, Katy, Demi..., even Sky Ferreira if we're to it.

Electric Heaven and Hot City could get some of those tacky dances I love those songs but I already picture them being used in one of these ridiculous trendy bad choreos but hey I'd support ANYTHING for her to drop the damn songs tbh

Or simply a long EP (around 8 tracks) with 6 bonus tracks and 2 alternate mixes knowing her, we'd barely get the album a deluxe tbh

I keep thinking that if I Wanna Fucking Call You, Right Now and Everything But You were scrapped BUT she still considers Electric Heaven, S.L.A.Y., Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt and Forever 21, it's still a win. I think those 10 (we haven't heard Wild Card, Show Me Your Love or the 'newer' Worst In Me) are solid, plus whatever she says we haven't heard. Those 10 from the 2020 draft plus 3 unheard bops? Brilliant. I still don't believe her, but it's a safe bet to say this would be a strong album today. Hopefully she releases it sometime in the remanent of the year.

I'm glad she's doing something for an iconic album! Unlike other iconic albums which special anniversaries have been completely ignored (looking at you, Lana [BTD] and Florence [Ceremonials]). The artwork is kinda trash but it's not completely disgusting so meh. Now, the whole album was remastered and there were 6 additions so I'm not completely mad at it! I understand that 20 years anniversary should've screamed something like "here, this is a special repackage with like 10 unreleased songs from the era" and a 2 CD version or some shit etc, but, again, at least she is releasing something special. I just think of Lady Gaga's Born This Way or Lykke Li's Wounded Rhymes 10th Anniversary reissues and I'm glad Avril did something better for Let Go.

I kept dosifying the listen after the initial rush and so it's still fun to me. But I feel you, it feels like there's not much left to talk about here. I'll believe it when I see it, this girl keeps promising since years ago, without releasing anything. Her replying on TikTok or Instagram is not enough, because she's done that before and it's led to nothing.

Exactly - however I think Skylar Grey initially didn't meet the same label issues. They didn't stop her from releasing two albums with them, but I'm aware that after 2016 the situation with them went downhill and now she's finally free from her contract. But I'm so glad you bring her up, her new album is excellent, definitely her best yet, and very worth it. Bonnie definitely should take some notes, in releasing terms mostly.
