As a true music stan I am sure you have heard countless stories,many artsits feeling trapped or restricted by their labels regregarding releasing music true 'to their artististic vision' Avril's new album (for those that have heard it) is a TRUE return to form where she sounds energized and TRUE to herself and will be released on an indie label and I can think of other, a la Robyn who went from a manufactured pop star to the BRILLIANT self released album in 2007 (her best ever work IMO) and more artists are rejecting the major labels to go Indie. Do you think an artist can only survive in this day age without a major record deal or do you think an artist can gain notability without major label success?

I registered 2 weeks ago and was edging myself to orgasm as within a few days somebody had already shared a link for a rare album (Marion Raven - Nevermore) I had been searching for years and I was hoping to request another long time search (FeFe Dobson - Firebird, if you have it, PLEASE share it!!) but one day tragedy struck when I went online and it said 'you have been blocked for spam - please contact an admin if this has been done in error' so as I knew it was an error I tried to contact the admin but the sluts wont allow me to message them as I have been blocked!!?? Looking on their chat, it seems a common problem as others are requesting help but nobody responds. I am wondering if anybody here has an account and would be sexy enough to message them and say 'his username is Newtooz, can you please unblock the shit out of him?' Exactly this - I don´t know the ins and outs of the supposed "drama" here but I have seen for the last few months people begging for HMU to be leaked and now we have a member that has been kind enough to give people what they want. Whats the problem there? People are saying "We´ve had these songs privately for ages so you´re not special" - I´d say he is pretty special for sharing to make people happy and not hoarding something that doesn´t belong to them anyway. I understand people trade and even sell songs for ridiculous money and that is their choice but I believe if I have something that someone wants then I will always be happy to share and respect others that do the same. In fact yesterday I tried to give @tropicalian a song they requested in the begging thread - it was the wrong song but the intention was there and now it makes me realize it might have been a mistake to do if the same respect is not returned? @tropicalian not talking about you specifically as it is multiple members that have done this - I am just referring to yesterdays incident as a fresh example of trying to provide others with what they have asked for.
