I didn't want to start a new thread because I'm not sure other members would be interested in this, but Skylar Grey has released 3 singles off her new album and I love that she's doing more upbeat pop music again. I was addicted to C'mon Let Me Ride, and have kept checking some of her releases since, but she's done mostly what I would describe as depressing, dark sounding music. In case anyone else has enjoyed that song as well, I recommend listening to her new material, I think it's gonna be a great album:

It's funny you say that because I literally remember during her first era having the same thought of "She's talented but too dark for me and it's all starting to sound the same" so we must be on the same wavelength  This stuff is more interesting to me than her older work!
