Elliot Rodger was a 22 year old student at University of California, Santa Barbara. On May 23, 2014, he fired bullets at two students outside a sorority house. His rampage continued throughout Isla Vista, an incorporated area of Santa Barbara. By the end, he had killed 7 and injured 18. Within the 7 deceased, were his two roommates and a guest that was visiting at the time. Leading up to what he calls 'Retribution Day', he posted videos on YouTube and wrote a 141 page manuscript. You can read the manifesto here. I'm deeply saddened by this because one of his roommates was an old student of mine for 2 years ago. My heart goes out to those affected by the events of Friday night.

Praise for "Young and Beautiful" and "Ride". I'm sad she didn't perform "Radio". That's one of my favourites by her.

I'm not saying it's meant for everyone, but I think she'll have kids someday. It would be interesting to see how she plays her career with her family. It's less of a jab at her and more of genuine intrigue. Miley's a smart girl, so I have faith that she'll be able to balance both. Just interested in how.

Circus is by far my favourite Britney album, and I even enjoyed the bonus tracks. Generally, I only care for 1 or 2 of the bonus tracks, but I legit liked all 50 bonus tracks from this album, especially "Quicksand"!
