lol at me never really paying attention to I Wanna Fucking Call You live. kinda a mistake because now I crave for that song untouched to leak
-
Can we just appreciate the absolute GEM of transition this would have been? Forever 21 transitioning into Hot City
-
It might be the final but iirc the leaked file was edited. Maybe it would sound more polished if it didn't sound, er, bass-boosted? In this particular case, Jenny sounds tampered, it was probably bass boosted upon leak. Hope a more polished version leaks, or else, that Bonnie releases it, but who knows if that would end up happening. I think they might refer to the previously leaked file. It was labeled as the final mix, which I think it is, but it sounds like it was edited before it leaked. Whether there's an unedited version around, I don't know. It's this file.

She should just slap Dirty Laundry, Die Happy and 4 other brand new songs (from the 2015-2018 frame that she FOR SURE has) to the platforms as an EP while all this legal shit clears out. Trust me, Bonnie, we will NOT disappear if your next release is not from the Epic sessions.

The reason must be she doesn't own the rights to American Girl AND it has been officially released. It's completely different from the case of SLAY, IWFCY, HC, EH and the others because those others remain unreleased, while American Girl has been out there for roughly a decade. I definitely doubt Epic will let her include AG in the album, or even re-record it à la Taylor Swift. Er, Bonnie did not write Lovely tho. It was just a cover. As for Taylor, yeah, she penned both Better Man and Babe but then the songs were scrapped and passed to other singers, but with Billie Eilish's Lovely, Bonnie had nothing to do with the songwriting. That was just for April Fool's iirc. imo Hit Me Up fits the album perfectly but as it was released by Stefanie Scott I doubt Bonnie would be able to release it herself. @lukeluke same goes for Waking Up Diagonal btw.

Not Bonnie McScheme lol, I misread it as Bonnie McScam

I think if Bombastic was a full album, it would've included Restless, In the Wild, Undefeated, Diamonds and I Get What I Want at the very least. While maybe less likely, Wild Heart, Don't Talk Back, Good Day 4 Love, Always on My Mind and Wings would've been great additions as well, and there you go, full album!

My second album FEARS + SHADOWS is turning 1 this week! (iirc it was Sept 9 but it was 'leaked' on the 6th and I made the deluxe available on the 10th so kinda a mess but anyway)
Have y'all listened yet? If not, here you go:

Didn't I tell y'all? I wanna see now those people saying something was coming in August. August is dead and buried, and so my hopes for her releasing anything this year. I would very much like her to stop referring to what she wrote a decade ago. Like, I get it, was pop history and ground breaking and game changing BUT she seems to be out of control of her music EVEN if she's an independent artist. I truly want her to put the Epic songs out, but IN THE MEANWHILE, she could release her darker album she keeps talking on, and eventually release those other tracks when she gets the masters back like droplet singles within 5 summers or whatever. Bring it on, Bonnie, I want to believe you.

Exactly! I guess that is a big fat factor. And the Carly example is the perfect way to picture it. It also reminded me my intention of getting into Carly's music

Of course not. August 31 is essentially over and nothing has happened (nor will it do this month). I honestly don't see it happening at all this year, based on the legal issues that she is still involved in, trying to get back the rights of remaining songs. Processes like those take usually long af to be cleared, which is understandable. I've said it before - but if I was her and if this legal issue was still one the table, I wouldn't have teased anything at all just yet. It's not happening soon.

Whoa, thanks for bringing this up! I found these Bebe Rexha scrapped tracklists. A.Y.F. original album tracklist: Atmosphere Small Doses Got You F.F.F. (feat. G-Eazy) Bad Bitch (feat. Ty Dolla $ign) Between Us Gateway Drug Naughty No Broken Hearts (feat. Nicki Minaj) The Way I Are All Your Fault, Pt. 2 scrapped tracklist: Sleeping Like a Baby Comfortable The Way I Are Naughty (Not) The One Apple Better Mistakes original tracklist: Break My Heart Myself Sabotage ? Better Mistakes ? My Dear Love (feat. Trevor Daniel & Ty Dolla $ign) Amore (feat. Rick Ross) Empty ? I Wish I Was My Boyfriend When I Broke Up with You (feat. Nick Jonas) Disappointed Mama On the Go (feat. Pink Sweat$) Cruel Cruel World Heaven Sent (feat. Pete Wentz) I'm guessing track 3 would be Trust Fall and track 5 Sacrifice, while for the 9th I have no idea, maybe Alien or 10 Minutes? And the last three were bonus for the deluxe. Then, from the final version she released, there was a planned new deluxe intended to include Alien, Posers, 10 Minutes, Firestarter and Cruel Cruel World, but I don't know the order lol.

Unless they secretly have, like the S.L.A.Y. 2014 final and RSVP, I don't think so
-
I second this! Don't know where to find it lol
-
When? I haven't found neither that nor RSVP
-
Wasn't the leaked S.L.A.Y. final the newest one from 2019-20?
-
iirc that song is 2009 and was produced by Oligee and Josh Abraham... afaik she never collaborated with RedOne, unless it's unleaked things.

I'm glad you liked her music! "Devil in Disguise" is particularly fabulous, maybe my favourite from Ruby (its parent album). If you liked it, it very much encapsules her overall artistic vibe so I bet you will like many, many other songs in her catalog. If you ask me, my particular favourite albums of hers are her latest two, Ruby and Sapphire (although the last one's tracklist order could've been improved tbh). -

Yes! I love to discuss small new artists, there's usually great surprises hidden there. Not to be a snake regarding other new artists (aka Tiktoker/Youtuber-to-singer type of artists) but there's more to new artists than... them. Disclaimer: probably these three are the biggest names out of my Small New Artists category. First I'd like to introduce River Westin, an American artist who has a vintage/retro jazzy-blues-60s type of vibe to his music. He's actually been around for around 5 years iirc but he has remained with a small audience. His second album is allegedly coming later this year/top of 2023. Favourite track: "Maraschino", "Silver Lining", "Dark Side". Then I have Nick Vega, whose music reminds me a lot of Lana Del Rey, MARINA and The Neighbourhood. Fun fact: he interpolates an unreleased Lana song ("Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight") in the title track of his second album Romance Ain't Dead. I've particularly loved that album but I have yet to listen to his previous music. I didn't know he was in The Voice Germany but as he has remained independent he keeps a lowkey career. Favourite track: "Paradise Is Fragile", "Slow Motion", "Float". And I also really love EMM, a pop artist who has also had a career since 2016 but her name isn't quite big and I think she deserves quite much more recognition. Besides her singing-songwriting, she also produces or co-produces all of her releases. She has one album (Burning in the Dark) and three mixtapes (Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire), these last forming a concept trilogy (the Gemstone Mixtapes) about the journey of a superhero/her alter ego. I've talked to her via DMs and she's quite nice, wish I could meet her face to face someday. Favourite track: "Vice", "Adderall", "Fall", "Devil in Disguise", "Freedom", "Avalanche". I must have more small artists like them in my library, I'll post about them eventually! Note to self: Casey Conroy, McKenna Michels, mehro, Heddy Edwards, Patryk Kania, etc. -
PLEASE. I wanna know how they sounds all together in final form, now that would be a dream come true
-
No no I think you're right. I kinda remember that as well. Back then Wild Card was unleaked, and I remember thinking that and Show Me Your Love would be the two previously-unheard songs. Bonnie girl, sorry to break it to you but now it will be only 1!
