  1. ME TOO. It was so sweet how proud she was of Ali. Dina came off surprisingly well too. I thought it was awkward that she went from being in love with Ali to dragging that real estate guy within like five minutes tho.
  2. Let me know what you think of it once you're done! I thought it was pretty interesting...it makes it hard to know whether or not she's fully genuine and committed to what she's doing, which I think is important as often curing yourself of this kind of disease isn't just a black and white thing. I'm gonna wait and see what happens next tho.
  3. This tbh! I'm not expecting some amazing masterpiece but I do think it'll be a cute, family-friendly movie.
  4. This is what I'm thinking too! The best is yet to come!
  5. Someone buy this for my birthday. :'(
  6. Neon Hitch is far from being a man of the law. Whether she's working with label Warner Bros. Records on her upcoming debut album, due for release later this year; releasing her own independent mixtapes such as the recent 301 To Paradise; or collaborating on hits for other artists (she co-wrote Ke$ha's 'Blah Blah Blah' and is probably best known as the vocalist on Gym Class Heroes' 'Ass Back Home'), Hitch adds a splash of gypsy magic to everything she touches, often resulting in unexpectedly introspective tracks that often tread the line between infectious dance-pop jams and reflective musings on her past. Check out our exclusive interview with her below to learn about her current relationship with her label, the fate of debut album Beg, Borrow & Steal and an unexpected potential career in acting... Hiya Neon! We hope you're doing well today. We wanted to start by asking how your music and your relationship with your label has evolved as you prepare to release your forthcoming LP later this year. Executives at the label have changed quite a few times over the years so it's been a lot of cultivating new relationships and elbowing my way to the front of the line. If you had to pick one song from the Beg, Borrow & Steal recording sessions that you wish your fans would've had the opportunity to hear, which song would you pick and why? I'm going to keep 'Hello' because it tells my story and the instrumentation is beautiful. Recently, at the Sundance Film Festival, you mentioned plans to venture into acting. What would be your dream role to play? I would love to play a role similar to Lucille Ball in I Love Lucy. What can we expect from you in the coming year? Will we be hearing new music from you any time soon? You can always expect to hear new music from me, whether I release it officially through a label or on the internet. Neon, thanks for making time for a very revealing interview! To keep up to date on all things Neon, follow her on Twitter here and check out her official website here. 7. At least it sounds like we'll be getting the interesting tracks on the album! I guess that's better than what people like Neon and Porcelain have had to do. :'(
  8. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE JUST DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE ALBUM OFF ITUNES FOR US. :'(
  9. Ugh, they've been teasing these songs for like a decade. Are they ever actually gonna release them?
  10. Is this the one about the little kid who died thirty years ago and has just come back to life or something?
  11. Has anyone else watched this yet?!
  12. Fair enough, all that copying and pasting was giving me carpal tunnel syndrome tbqh.
  13. That's dreadful tbh. Whoever made it should be shot.
  14. Tbh it is pretty pretentious, but I still loved it! Normally I hate that narcissistic bullshit which Tumblr seems to love, but for some reason I found this one really genuine and beautiful.
  15. God bless. They better be good tho or I'm cutting your salary.
  16. Don't hate. House de Garnsey was a huge family back when we all lived in Europe. Gurl, ain't nobody got time for dat. Sweating is disgusting.
  17. Right? Plus, they all sang in 'Painted Windows' and every girl had a solo song on DD...if they just wanted Nicole as the lead singer and everyone else as a back-up dancer and they all signed a contract to that effect, fine. But it seems like they were all told that they would be given parts to sing (even if they were smaller parts) which worked until Nicole tried to diva it up and take those away from them as well. That's when all the trouble started.
  18. Yasss preparing her hair for the new era I see!
  19. I couldn't find you. Unless you're like a professional athlete or something?
  20. Hey y'all! So I'm looking for some covers for the flawless Neon Hitch. Since we have so many songs from her, I thought it would be cool to divide them into three albums: Beg (slower, more heartfelt ballads), Borrow (mid-tempo songs) and Steal (fun, upbeat dance-pop songs). If anyone could make three flawless covers for each of these albums I'll give you like $50 credits. I'd also love one for U Don't Have To Steal This...It's Free! so if anyone can make one for that I'll give you an extra $25. Thank you!
  21. *stalks Nick Burley on Facebook*
  22. I revel in your pain.
  23. Based on experience, I'm guessing that colour would have washed out by now. Plus, she never had any yellow streaks for that video, did she? She must have had a hairdresser come into rehab especially for her.
  24. a) Carmit never said that the stories were completely made up. She clearly had an interview with The Sun and it's likely that they pretended to focused the interview around Ashley before editing most of it out later to make it more about Nicole. However, that doesn't mean that what she said is completely fabricated - if it was, I doubt Carmit would think twice about suing them tbh. b) Your facts are totally off. Melody and Ashley were both pissed off about the 'Jai Ho' feature, judging by that video of Melody talking about it on stage that one night. And I believe it was either Ashley or Carmit who discussed Nicole choosing who got to appear in music videos and who didn't. Melody wasn't the only one who sang on PCD tracks, either: Kaya Jones has background vocals on a few tracks, Carmit has a verse on 'Beep', and all the girls are credited with background vocals in the booklet for the first album. Nicole doesn't even sing on 'Santa Baby'. You're completely delusional if you don't realize that the Dolls were nothing more but a launching tool for Nicole. It was written into her contract that along with her involvement in PCD, she'd also be given a solo album to be released after the first PCD album. It's logical than in order to make sure both projects were a success, they'd highlight Nicole as the lead singer of each track. c) That's just another example of Nicole taking control of the group tho. Instead of consulting with the other girls about what the second album should sound like, she came to an agreement with Robin and Rob about using her own tracks on it without considering any of the other girl's opinions. I'd like to see receipts for Nicole recording 'Jai Ho' as a solo single, as she specifically says in this quote she wanted to make it a quintessentially PCD song: I'd also like to see receipts for the other girls only being hired as dancers. It's true that Nicole was always intended to be the lead singer of the group and Melody the main secondary singer, but as far as I know the other girls were always intended to sing. If not, why give them parts in the PCD album (as listed above) in the first place?
