My mom loves her too so I grew up with her music. We used to sing All For You and dance whenever it came on haha. Before that, my knowledge of Janet was so little like I knew that she was Michael's sister, that she had that nipplegate thing at the Super Bowl and I also knew a few of her hits such as Nasty, Control, Rhythm Nation, If (my fav ), Together Again, All For You, Feedback and I think that I did listen to No Sleep on its release day back in 2015 but that was it. I never really had any interest in her and that was weird because I stan Kylie, Britney, Madonna & BoA too . But since that day, she has been in Top 10 and she really is a legend in the music industry! She's also really underrated nowadays especially in Europe and that's . They used to aired his music videos all the time on that music channel that I was watching when I was a kid so I've seen most of his mv but I've never listened to any of his albums. Maybe I should check his discography one day too. But Janet will always be my fav Jackson! And BoA is the QUEEN of K-Pop, she's basically the Korean Britney (at her prime) or Janet when it comes to performance, they are both great dancers. I just wish she wasn't trying so hard with 'Made For Now', she can do sooo much better than what she gave us with that. Speaking of MJ, do y'all think he would still have such a huge career nowadays in the era of #MeToo and all the increased awareness of sexual harassment? Oh my that's a good question I don't know a lot about him. I think he went to trial and was going on one last tour right before he died? If he were alive today I don't think he would be able to go on tour after it all came out. Maybe he could but it would have to be a few years later. If you want to get honest he probably could have a career if he waited for things to cool down. Other rapists still have careers even in the #MeMtoo era because they waited until people stopped talking about them. Kelly, who's still touring and releasing music on a label even after multiple accusations of sexual assault. But I doubt he'd have the kind of success that he did during his career, and I definitely don't think we'd be calling him the King of Pop anymore.
