I don't think she was the one to deserve all the solo promotion she could access initially, Normani and Lauren Jauregui are superior in terms of vocal abilities. They bet on the wrong horse.

Both Sabotage and Sacrifice were good songs and deserved better, don't know why but there's something keeping her from making it real big, a bit like Rita Ora. This is cool, this really proves that a leak can do no harm. They were smart to re-record the vocals and update the arrangement of course, but the leak going viral on TikTok was a blessing and actually served as a stunning campaign ahead of the official release. They were lucky the song leaked and got so much attention.

This is what happens when they start flopping, label shift and desire for independent music. Something obviously got wrong in the promotion of her career. It's weird but most artists whose catalogues are kept super tight just flop, I'm thinking of Katy Perry, JLo, Leona Lewis, even Taylor Swift lost herself in the nightmare of her re-releases and is far from the numbers she did years ago. On the other hand, Dua Lipa enjoyed an ever growing success these past few years and I'm sure she partially ows it also to her many leaks of unused songs and demos who were some kind of an amazing campaign to keep the focus on her, hence her live shows and officially released albums. Leaks keep the interest in an artist alive, if no leak happens, nothing gets released, they are pretty fast forgotten and people turn their attention to somebody else. Even Britney Spears is not doing great with the EJ collaboration. And it's no surprise to me: almost nothing coming from her, people focused on her private life and when she releases new music, the reaction is warm of course. Just compare the differences between Hold Me Closer and Cold Heart. Despite being two very similar project Cold Heart was a hit, but Hold Me Closer is struggling. Dua kept the focus on her music, Britney had just a couple of leaks and mostly family gossip... Fans must be fed if artists want them to be loyal to one's music, otherwise they'll be forgotten and fans will seek another artist to follow, it's just as simple as that. Also just expect anything that Rihanna might release in the future to heavily flop... No releases, no leaks, nothing, just moisturizing tutorials, does she expect people to wait for her for eternity? She just wished.

It'll take the Superbowl to make her release some music.

Bebe Rexha and David Guetta hitting the n1 spot in several countries (including UK) just show that, when something is good, the leak of a song doesn't actually affect negatively at all the success of it. On the contrary the leak gave them the awareness that the public really enjoyed the song and pushed them to release the track. If only other artists, instead of being protective over their unused material, would have been more open to fans appreciation and reactions, they might have scored the hits they long for. Gaga can you just learn and phunking finally officially release Nothing on?

I'll try in English 😅 I'm a super privat person on socials so I would NEVER do something like that. I'm also pretty shocked when I see normal people sharing thoughts about death, loss, love or family on socials but I guess a public person like Britney may have the perception of public very different from mine. Maybe she's thinking that if her conservatorship was so public than her renewed freedom must enjoy as much visibility, to show she's back in full control. For how wrong or unhealthy this might be, that could be the reason for that. As for what a counsellor or a therapist might advise, I've never needed one luckily so I don't have a clue. But I know a few persons who needed help and I guess, from what they told me, that, yes, they may advise writing a letter. Don't know if a therapist would advise differently such a public personality like Britney, to let her thoughts go and not be ashamed of that. I truly don't understand, she obviously need some loving guidance, but I'm pretty happy she's not making any money out of it and she's not letting anyone else profiting from it by spilling it all herself. It's like she's preventing further abuse.

Would a counsellor not advice her to release her thoughts? I truly don't know how these things evolve or go, but I swear she must be seeing someone, it'd be crazy if she didn't. Maybe this is all part of her new acquired freedom, let it all go after being kept silent for so long?

Britney's kids catfighting with their mother on socials is SO damn sad. What's holding them from talking to each other and try to set things right now that she's free? Britney might have been truly unstable for a while but I think the main issue in all this awful situation is money. There's a FULL family depending on Britney's money and they won't let go, that the real deal. A father, a mother, a sister, a brother, a ex-husband and 2 kids ALL at some degree depending on her money. None of them wants the well to run dry and they all wish to keep on living a wealthy life without moving a finger like they've done up to now. And their only way to do so is to keep on hinting that she's crazy. I truly think that if Britney was broke as f, she'd be happier for sure and loved for who she really is. The poor girl might be the richest in the world, but she's sorrounded by sharks, 7 20ft hungry white sharks. Oh and I've got a few doubts about the hunky stud she just married to, so it'd make 8 white sharks, but if you add loyers, assistants and all that it might be the scariest shark shoal ever seen.

When she left Little Mix i remember reading how she had some kind of nervous breakdown, she was so desperate that she needed to quit the biz and how much she hated what she had to wear. So I thought she'd retire for her own health. A few months later I found her again, back on track on the biz and wearing the very same stuff she was wearing as part of the group. That was pretty weird. Why can't artist just be honest when they decide to go solo?

When I first read it I thought it was just gossip, but I think it really might be happening. Even though there's something about EJ that keeps me off much of his stuff, I hope this is a chance for her to start releasing music again.

I pretty enjoyed The Orphan, even if not the best horror movie ever, it was pretty disturbing and you ended up empathizing with mummy and start wishing to see Esther dead asap. Not sure about this forthcoming prequel where Esther should be supposed to be 10 years younger played by the same actress 10 years older from where we left. Age and appearance are not quite a detail in this movie...

After 6 years from the last album I was excited and was hoping for something dance oriented, but not so generic. I love her voice, she's recorded amazing tracks in the past, but is she serious??

i found a clip of a track which was rumoured to be a Disco outtake, if i find it again i'll post it here, but i remember somebody saying it wasn't a disco outtake, don't know the truth honestly, clip was good either way. there you go i found it in the snippet folder, i didn't tag it with a disco cover i downloaded it this way, but again i don't know if it's really a disco outtake or not, it may sound like one actuallly. the song must be good.

I just wish some Disco outtakes would leak as well, it was such an inspired and good album. In the X mass back in 2008 there also was a v good song penned by Boy George and titled something like I'm A Survivor or Survivor, always thought it was a damn good leak, sadly doomed by uber s*it quality, does ab know if a HQ version of that exist?

Totally agree, even if I have to be honest, it's always hard for me to see the actors who play the role of such famous icons and personalities I'm super familiar with and not constantly think that it's someone dressed as them. Malok did a great job with the Queen movie, but I couldn't help but thinking that it was someone with fake teeth dressed as Freddie Mercury 😞 Another Mariah Carey hero lol, but yeah exactly you're right it's gonna be a huge self celebration

I love Madonna (old Madonna at least lol, i mean old like 80's Madonna, not an age problem so don't call me ageist lol) but this thing of her directing her own biopic scares me. She said she's the only person who can direct a biopic about her life, but i think it might not be right. Madonna's HUGE ego might become a bit intrusive, might be wrong but i'd have prefered somebody else directing it. The choice of the actress partially proves i might not be totally wrong: Madonna's true colors are dark brown, she spent the first years of her career, before being famous in NY, just being a brunette, she kept her hair roots and her eyebrows brown for so long, her italian heritage just showed a lot when she was a kid. The actress they picked looks very different from Madonna aged 20 22, she looks like some beautiful swedish mannequin which is far from what madonna was on her way to stardom. Julia Garner look more like the porjection Madonna had of herself rather that what she really looked like at her age (if you know what i mean lol). ps: there's a dancer who won an awful talent show here in Italy which reminds me A LOT of Madonna aged 19 20, an actress with those dark italian features would have been a much fitter pick.
