Mona, don't take this the wrong way, but you don't have to take comments so personally. I've noticed you tend to get defensive pretty quickly. If something touched a nerve, I'm sure no one meant it to, especially someone like Ashley. We only spread love here!
Eh, I'm not completely surprised at what I'm reading in this article. However, this is a really one-sided argument and how trustworthy is this person really? What kinds of qualifications does this person have? However, again, I'm not surprised at some of the things happening, like free giveaways and whatnot. Gaga's debut is hard to top.
I just want Lip$ha so we can hear the other experimental songs she writes. It would be cool to hear her sound evolve and grow. Granted, I do agree that I would only want Lip$ha to be a side project. I don't know how much I'd like it if she went in that direction completely.
She really needs a new wardrobe though. I don't think I've actually heard an entire song by her. I've heard like 15 seconds of "Royals" and that's about it. She just doesn't intrigue me as an artist...or a human being.
She should just do what every other artist in the world does to gain some hype. Release it as a Mixtape! Sabi just had her's! Might as well beat her out...no offense to her and her fan base: all 2 of you.
So I just checked YouTube and it looks like the videos are up. Along with the performances is also the video for Volantis. HausTech basically made a really ghetto hovercraft. I'm not sure you can really call it a 'flying dress'.
Yup! Amazon had a deal where if you pre-ordered your album before November 1st, you were guaranteed #ARTFOIL. On Friday, Amazon e-mailed me that they had sent out the albums on Saturday (a day earlier than expected), and we were to receive it today. Amazon prevailed in their promises! Honestly, the foil doesn't do too much for the artwork...I guess it looks a little different? But it's not all that amazing. My sandwich probably won't look any better being wrapped in it. But what's cool is that I was able to carefully remove the sticker from the plastic wrapping and I managed to stick it onto the CD case. (The sticker that says "Including the hit songs ________" etc) Every time I try peeling off the sticker, it always rips.
Ah, they finally got around to uploading it. The only thing before "Aura" was a bunch of establishing shots of the venue and the statues. Oh, what song does she debut the flying dress thing? I don't think I saw it when I watched the performance.
It's uploaded to YouTube now? I remember someone saying they were gonna do that, but when I found this link, I don't think I found it on YouTube in HQ. Anywho, is it up as the entire show? Or did they break it into multiple videos for each song?
What's annoying is that you can't start at the beginning, pause, rewind, fast-forward, etc. It's just being played on a loop by Vevo. It's not like a video that's uploaded to YouTube or anything.
Have you tried eBay? They use PayPal, which is pretty simple to use. That's where I got mine. I got the Japan edition that has "Dirty Picture Pt. 2" and "CUNxTuesday". I think I got mine for like $8. It was pretty cheap. And free shipping!
