WELP has it really been SEVEN whole years since Bombastic?? To think she turned down deals with major labels because she had had ton of music ready to go and wanted to serve them to her fans asap. We've all been scammed girls and there's no compensation for the years of support we invested in this woman. Global pandemic or not, even if koevid didn't happen, we'd still be here with no music in sight. "It's coming sooner than you think." Well, Bon, I think it's never coming out. So what is sooner than never?

Girls, I feel so sad for her. When I watched the interview all I saw was someone trying to appear tough and resilient, yet all she was giving me was someone in pain and denial. Wendy's clearly NOT taking this well and it's understandable. They took her entire dream away from her (the show, not to mention the money she's earned) and now she has to acquint herself with the world of social media/the Internet, something that I'm sure must feel very alien and threatening to a woman in her late 50s who didn't grow up with it. She's also very clearly on some type of medication.

The 4th of July concept would be a slay, but seeing how long it takes her to polish/mix an album that's already been mixed about a thousand times, I'm not too sure. I agree with @cocomong -- August is her last chance to redeem herself. If we're on September and she's still teasing this, I'm done. I have a lot of patience and I'm always willing to give people benefit of the doubt, just not with her anymore. Too many failures and unprofessional behavior.

I'd love it if she dropped the album on the last day of June but Ms. Bonehilda is an elite troll and it's unrealistic AF. The only way I'll start getting hyped for any releases is if she starts posting pre-save links and we have the album ready for preorder on iTunes. UNLESS that happens, she's just trolling, tweaking, polishing, and mixing the album to eternity.

I think we'll never know with 100% certainty what songs were supposed to make or which did make the final tracklist of the Epic album back in the day... we can only speculate based on the little information we have. And even then, different people are bound to interpret that differently. We know for sure American Girl, S.L.A.Y., Forever 21 etc. were supposed to be on it as they were frequently performed and some were obvious soon-to-be singles. Then there are the tracks she didn't perform which we only knew about cuz of the whiteboard footage/screenshot (Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt, Electric Heaven, Outlaw, Mirage). In Breaking Bonnie, I got the feeling the song selection wasn't random but she knowingly picked tracks that were also considered for the album at the time/at some point (Sexin' U, Turn Me Up, Worst in Me, Calling All Cars). Last Call Lover was also played during the Greg Kurstin sessions. People requesting So-Called Life doesn't surprise me... it screams Kesha circa Animal/Cannibal era and fits so well with the rest of the Epic songs. I don't believe the song was written for the album tho. EDIT: Some girls really get too bogged down over the whole 'unless it was written in 2013/2014 it's not ePiC!!' Let's not forget she was thinking of including Love Spell and Stars in Your Heart... both written years prior.

OMG I'm SHOOK I ordered the tracks in the exact same order except I'm leaving out Dirty Laundry since it hasn't leaked yet and including Speed of Light instead So for me it goes like: 1. Thorns (goes without saying, obviously the best track to open the EP with) 2. Speed of Light (Alright, here's the thing... are the lyrics cheesy? yes. Is the production basic? yes. And is this from the Bombastic era? But listen to Thorns in full and then wait for the transition into SoL it's GREAT. And the way the song perfectly blends into Die Happy? WIG!) 3. Die Happy ... And yeah, if I judge the music of the Thorns ""era"" on its own then it's ok. It's good pop music. In comparison to the bops we know she's capable of birthing though? nuh uh I find the lack of promo and concerts concerning, especially during this time of the year when the gheiz (=who make up 100% of her fanbase) get to celebrate and be celebrated. She should at least drop S.L.A.Y. on iTunes/Apple Music/Amazon/Spotify etc. as thanks to all of us following her this long without a single studio album in sight. Even sKy feRReIrA of all people attempted to perform performed live here and there this year to give her second studio album (which is nowhere near finished after almost 10 years) some promo.

The amount of disrespect from Debmar-Mercury to sell/throw away all those personal belongings and memorabilia... I've heard the iconic purple chair was tossed away as were the wigs. And this might go against the general consensus, but I feel a bit odd about Suzanne and Norman just moving on with their lives and hopping over on Sherri's pay roll. Yes, I get that they're people and have others they care for, mouths to feed, debts/mortgages to pay off, but I guess it's just sad to see the illusion of the onscreen friendship between them and Wendy dissipate like that. Suzanne always gave me the vibe she'd suck up to anyone and we know Wendy had sometimes acted weird/rude towards her, but Norman seemed like he would remain loyal to Wendy as they both seemed to be quite close. 🙁

I'm devastated... not because the show ended (let's be real, it ended the moment Wendy disappeared) but because of HOW it ended. Wendy deserved a proper goodbye, her flowers, and so SO much more. They did her dirty! On the bright side, one YouTube commentator said the show ended the way it started.... messy! And that's lowkey on brand 💀😆 Don't know what to say atm.... I just can't believe I won't see her on TV anymore, I REFUSE to believe that. I wish they at least gave her the password to her YouTube channel, so her son can teach her how to create and upload videos and she can do video podcasts in the vein of "Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM." She could do a perfect blend of radio and TV... it's not like anyone watched the Wendy show for the tacky segments on discounted vacuums or cooking (Wendy still made them fun though because you could tell she hated doing them lmao). I'll miss Ask Wendy as well.

I agree, if crickets is all we hear of this album near the end of August I'm gonna go "say something I'm giving up on you" on ha. Worst case scenario: she'll decide to postpone the release until summer 2023 for it to coincide with the tenth year anniversary of American Girl. Nightmare/hell scenario: she'll postpone it until summer 2024 for it to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Epic album's unrealized original release date; until then she'll continue in her usual grift and gaslight us to oblivion. American Horror Story: Bonnie McKee scenario -- she's never releasing this damn album or any music for that matter, but we will be getting a brand new short film nobody asked for.

Honestly I haven't been excited for anything Beyoncé-related since "Self-Titled" which I played the hell out of... and I'm not a fan but girl had me spellbound during that era. I loved the concept of every song receiving a high budget music video and it all being like a short film + there so many meme-worthy moments that are now almost engrained into the collective consciousness, e.g. the "Oh, my aspiration in life... wow, th-that's a great question... I wasn't expecting that question... well, my aspiration in life would be to be happy" monologue of Pretty Hurts; the entire Ghost/Haunted chapter with Beyoncé ruthlessly ripping off Des'ree's 'You Gotta Be' MV in Ghost and channeling her inner bad girl Riri in Haunted. Then Flawless's "I woke up like this, I woke up like this" taunt + the impeccable Nicki Minaj remix with Nickita's now legendary "Looking Trinidadian, Japanese and Indian / Got Malaysian, got that yaki, that wavy Brazilian" and Beyoncé's "Of course sometimes shit go down when it's a billion dollars on an elevator" in reference to the messy Solangé X Jay-Z elevator bitch fight. Also Yoncé/Partition ("He Monica Lewinski'd all on my gown"). Add that spectacular Super Bowl performance into the mix, as well as the messiness of the national anthem live performance scandal + Beyoncé belting out the anthem again during the Super Bowl press conference as a response to the lip-syncing allegations and you got yourself an ERA. Wow am I in Beyhive or what? I legit made myself SHOOKETH from how I didn't know I stanned the album/era so much Having said that, Sasha Fierce remains my favorite Beyoncé album overall because I'm a basic ghey and all I crave are some commercial pop bops. Unfortunately, she lost me with Lemonade which I felt lacked memorable melodies and the music videos were far too wannabe high art for me. Wasn't into the Lion King soundtrack or the Jay-Z joint album project either. So yeah, my interest in Beyoncé as a singer and a performer waned and ultimately died sometime in 2016. A large reason why are her hard-core obnoxious stans (excluding the normal fans), the fact her music turned into this unmemorable overhyped blah, and the press building her up to be this divine being/Goddess.

Yeah, imo it all comes down to Katy, Kesha, and Bonnie coming from a generation that grew up during a time when using offensive language to the LGBTQ+ folks was kind of the 'cool/hip' thing to do. I know sis I'm the same way! Wasn't trying to throw shade 🌞 And that's on PERIODT! I still find it incomprehensible they had such high expectations of her yet the budget must've been so miniscule that she was forced to use her own house for the American Girl video shoot. It's really commendable how much she was able to do with so little looking back. As for S.L.A.Y. not being the best choice, I guess we'll never know how it would fare 😭 Personally, I see a lot of potential with the anthemic sing-along spelling bee gimmick and the LGBTQ+ community would embrace it as well. I think it's legit.. But I don't think there were any ill intentions behind the T-slur, sounded to me (when I read it) like she just threw it in there as a spur-of-the-moment wannabe facetious remark. I wouldn't read too much into it This is the problem with straight or allegedly bisexual people who are 'down' with the LGBTQ+ community and hang around certain circles with our people.. she might've heard someone use the T-word in an empowering manner similarly to how we use faggot and might've thought it's ok for her to do it as well not realizing what implications that has when someone from outside the community does it
