I feel like when I was a kid I always wanted to live in a world with Pokémon and this movie is pretty much that! Although I'm a little confused about the creature designs, it looks more like they're toys based on Pokémon than real Pokémon. Either way I'm excited for this, I hope they do it justice! While I'm inclined to say I'll watch it for the sake of watching it, I'm also cringing pretty hard at the design. Although, I am glad they don't look super CGed out and completely out of place. I think the design will definitely take some getting used to, but you are right - I'd prefer this to a bad CGI job. I hope this movie does well, I'd love to see Pokémon become a franchise like the MCU! I'm here for A Jigglypuff Is Born, The Greatest ShowMime and their crossover hit The Pokévengers!
