Justin Bieber Debunked; Lady Gaga the True Queen of Twitter

SocialBakers, a social media analytics company, has revealed today that Justin Bieber has been dethroned as the King of Twitter!

The company looked at the amount of real versus fake followers that Bieber had, finding that over half of his 37 million followers are in fact fake, leaving him with only 17.8 million. That's almost 2 million less than Gaga's verified 19 million.

The company made it's calculations based on the Tweets of the celebrities followers. It looked at whether or not the users frequently sent out the same Tweets in a row and if they used phrases such as "work from home" to deduce whether or not they were actual people.
