Somebody's Gonna Get Hurt wasn't really scrapped per se. Its rights situation is more complicated than the rest of the tracks according to her comments on TikTok, which translated in its absence from the album.

Alright, it still feels surreal we're finally able to (properly) listen to this and I'll try to be as objective as possible regarding the whole situation surrounding her career. It was tough to accept the album was not coming out anymore back in the day as I genuinely worshipped American Girl and the rest of the tracks she performed live throughout that time. I believe releasing the album now could represent something quite interesting in today's music scene since unlike the early 10s, nobody is properly pursuing the euphoric and extra rich dance sound that belongs to those years (there are only a couple of indie attempts). With some support, Bonnie could genuinely build her niche and start a movement. Also thanks to TikTok's obsession with nostalgia, the late 00s-Early 10s could become the new 80s, they most likely will tbh. We just need a proper spark to start the fire.

Bought on iTunes. It's really good and it's not even my favorite song from her. This whole album is truly set to become album of the decade for me. "Rewind Your Heart" would be such a cool album title given the context, plus it's such an ANTHEM.

Tbh, Hot City is way better than both of them, it’s punchier and it provides a more direct 80s-vibe. If she was with a big team, and this was scheduled as a summer releases, I’d plan Hot City as the lead, followed by I Wanna Fucking Call You for the summer and Rewind Your Heart for the fall/winter. S.L.A.Y is definitely nice but it doesn’t stand out as much as the other tracks imo. Anyway, I just need her to release the whole thing so that we can properly support the project.
