I find it disheartening that she would honestly work with Luke. I know every rapper would sell out and do a song with him for a paycheck. She clearly noticed what Bonnie was doing and bringing back real pop music and decided she could do it better. However with that Horrid snippe, I have to disagree. She’s just gonna flop without Bonnie’s lyrics anyways. That’s what she does. Doesn’t Katy know she made this song already in 2013, called International Smile. It’s redundant at best. Just an opinion😅

They could ask for sure if they have connections with their labels still. I’m honestly so confused by how like this whole masters and ownership thing is working lately. Especially with the whole Brit Smith thing. She released a song she recorded under Interscope and released a song and is releasing an EP she recorded under Jive/RCA records. Who actually released her “new song” chocolates and lies and a promo single. And apparently she’s just releasing them. I feel like either Epic records should burn in hell for holding this masterpiece we’ve just received or Brit Smith gotta be breaking laws and contracts 🤣🤣

It’s release by a different label and Bonnie only licensed the song, which is why her album is listed as a compilation because it’s different labels, different distributing partners and such. It was the lead single of the original album. But even last year Bonnie called the album SLAY in her original tik tok announcement video. I’m not sure when the Hot City name took over the era. Im glad it did though because the album is straight 🔥
