Almost a year after he deleted his Twitter account back in May of 2017, Kanye West has reactivated his account - and it's already gotten him back in the headlines, thanks to a selection of Tweets in support of US President Donald Trump.

Kanye started Tweeting again ten days ago, and his early Tweets were marked by a slew of announcements:a philosophy book, called Break the Simulation; a seven track solo album; a collaborative album with Kid Cudi called Kids See Ghost; and three albums produced by him for Pusha T, Teyana Taylor and Nas.

But it didn't take long before the Tweets took another turn, with Kanye expressing support of Trump supporters such as Fox News personality Candace Owens and cartoonist Scott Adams and discussing terms such as "fake news". And then today, after days of questions from fans, he finally addressed the orange elephant in the room.

Trump himself responded with a Tweet, thankful for the man who's probably his only black rapper supporter.

West's wife Kim Kardashian also had something to say, allegedly calling West to ask him for clarity.

For her part, Kim appears to completely disagree with Kanye's opinions, but she also defended him against the media's constant barrage of mental illness accusations.

Kanye's Tweets have set off a spree of unfollows from his once-loyal fanbase, with stars like Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Katy Perry, Lana del Rey, Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna (the last three of which have collaborated with him) all jumping ship. Possibly more significantly, Kardashian sisters Khloe, Kourtney and Kendall have also all hit the Unfollow button. While reports have stated that West lost 9 million followers in total, it seems that he has gained just as many back as his follower count has remained steady - although we'd question how many of these followers are real people.

Love them or hate them, nothing is ever boring in the Kardashian-West world. What are your thoughts of the Twitter tirade? Remember when the collaboration between Britney Spears and will.i.am, 'Scream & Shout', was all over the airwaves back in 2012? The song was a major hit for both artists, solidifying will as a solo star worldwide while giving Britney the much-needed comeback bop she deserved after a string of unsuccessful singles.

But what you might not have realised is that the song was actually subject to a large-scale legal battle enacted by English singer Tulisa. Tulisa, who had a moderately successful career both in group N-Dubz and as a solo musician before becoming a judge on X Factor UK, was originally given the beat to write to and crafted a song alongside Jean Baptiste entitled 'I Don't Give A Fuck'. As a side note, a song allegedly by Tulisa entitled 'I Don't Give A Fuck' has been online for a few years, but we don't see any similarity between that and 'Scream & Shout'. Either way, the track was ready to be released on her album The Female Boss, but the song's producer Lazy Jay didn't want her to have it and instead passed it onto will. "Tulisa wrote to that song before I did – this is the truth," will stated in an interview. "But the producers of the beat…didn’t want her to have it."

This is where it gets weird. Tulisa's lyrics were allegedly used by will and Britney without her permission, even though she was never credited as a writer for the track. But the oddest thing is that Tulisa's vocals can allegedly still be heard on the final track, with Brit's voice just laid over the top. I have to admit I can't personally make her out, but at least that somewhat explains why Britney raps in an English accent throughout.

Regardless of what we can hear, Tulisa proved her case enough to win the five year-long legal battle, and has earned herself 10% of the publishing rights and income for the track. Although we're sure will and the other writers weren't too happy about it, they do have something to shout about. All proceeds from the sale of the song have been stuck in legal limbo ever since it's release, and now that the lawsuit's been resolved it should mean a tidy payday for all involved.

Mariah Carey has become well known in recent years for her glamorous styling, lavish lifestyle and "diva"-like behaviour. But according to the singer, there's another side to her which barely anyone has seen - up until now.

In a twist that seems both unexpected and explains a lot, Carey has confirmed a decades long struggle with bipolar disorder in an interview with People Magazine. She was first diagnosed with the disorder in 2001, when she went to rehab following a well-publicised public meltdown. However, she lived in denial for a number of years before deciding to seek help recently.

"I didn't want to believe it," she says of her early diagnosis. "Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me.”

Instead, Carey self-diagnosed with a sleep disorder. "For a long time I thought I had a severe sleep disorder," she stated. "But it wasn’t normal insomnia and I wasn’t lying awake counting sheep. I was working and working and working … I was irritable and in constant fear of letting people down. It turns out that I was experiencing a form of mania. Eventually I would just hit a wall. I guess my depressive episodes were characterized by having very low energy. I would feel so lonely and sad — even guilty that I wasn’t doing what I needed to be doing for my career.”

However, following "the hardest couple of years" that she's been through in her life, which involved a breakup with fiancee James Packer, a management shake up, a low-rated reality show and an undoubtedly stressful Vegas residency, Carey finally sought treatment.

"It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music."

Carey's treatment involves not only therapy but also prescription medication. "I’m actually taking medication that seems to be pretty good. It’s not making me feel too tired or sluggish or anything like that. Finding the proper balance is what is most important," she stated to the magazine.

According to WebMD, bipolar II (the specific form of the disorder Carey has been diagnosed with) is less severe than bipolar I, but it is still marked by the same "ups" and "downs" seen throughout the disorder. During their "ups", biipolar II patients suffer from a less intense version of mania known as "hypomania", while also suffering from bouts of depression.

Carey has said that she chose to open up about the disorder to help others in the same situation. "I’m just in a really good place right now, where I’m comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder. I’m hopeful we can get to a place where the stigma is lifted from people going through anything alone. It can be incredibly isolating. It does not have to define you and I refuse to allow it to define me or control me."

Demi Lovato has come forward about a "terrible experience" that she had at 2016's Met Gala, the annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute: one that forced her to leave the event early and almost relapse.

Speaking to Billboard for her cover story, Lovato stated, "This one celebrity was a complete bitch and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey. I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink." Lovato has famously been sober for five years, and has been candid about her struggles with depression, addiction, eating disorders and bipolar.

Lovato texted her manager, then left the party early to attend a 10 p.m. Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. "I changed my clothes, but I still had my diamonds on -- millions of dollars of diamonds on in an AA meeting. And I related more to the homeless people in that meeting who struggled with the same struggles that I deal with than the people at the Met Gala -- fake and sucking the fashion industry’s dick."

While Lovato stayed mum on which celebrity she was talking about, it didn't take long for the Internet to put two and two together. Fans immediately remembered a post that Nicki Minaj had made on social media the night after the Met Gala, which featured herself alongside Lovato and designer Jeremy Scott. Minaj seemed to be throwing major side eye to Lovato, and conspicuously failed to tag her in the photo. Lovato later posted a similar photo, with the caption, "This picture pretty much summed up my first and probably last met [...] I'm obviously laughing at the fact that 1. I look incredibly awkward and 2. That the shade being thrown in this picture actually gives me life."

Even though she tried to play it cool, Demi seemed a little shook over the whole affair, posting some blasé emojis on Nicki's post and taking to Snapchat to post, "When you aren't mentioned in the post but didn't do shit to the person".

Demi and Nicki have both remained tight-lipped about the experience other than the social media posts in 2016 and the recent interview. For Demi fans, though, it's clear that Nicki was the celebrity being referred to.

At one point in time, Keri Hilson was the It Girl in pop music, becoming the poster girl for the slinky new wave R&B that populated most of the airwaves back in 2008. Following her breakthrough featuring on Timbaland's still great 'The Way I Are', Hilson stepped out on her own with tracks like 'Knock You Down' featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo (her biggest success), 'Turnin Me On' with Lil Wayne and 'Pretty Girl Rock'. But she was also a writer, penning hits like Ciara's 'Like A Boy', The Pussycat Dolls' 'Wait A Minute' and Britney Spears 'Gimme More'. Her writing skills allowed her to feature on tracks from dozens of stars, like Chris Brown ('Superhuman'), Trina ('Million Dollar Girl') and T.I. ('Got Your Back').

Hilson's debut album In a Perfect World... was released in 2009, with her second No Boys Allowed released in 2010; but following 2011 she dropped off the musical radar entirely, failing to write songs or collaborate with other artists at all. She dabbled in film a little, appearing in bit parts in Think Like A Man, Riddick, Almost Christmas and Love by the 10th Date; but other than that she was completely MIA, even stepping back from her large platform on social media. In 2016, it was announced online that Keri had a new album called L.I.A.R. (Love Is A Religion) on the way, including tracks with Chris Brown, Danja, Timbaland and Polow Da Don; but while Hilson confirmed that the album did exist, she also stated that she had no plans to release it imminently, and soon after it was completely forgotten.

Now, seven years after she disappeared from music, Hilson has finally explained her reasons why, along with her intention to return to the spotlight. Keri's comeback tour started on the Steve Harvey show, where she met with alleged psychic medium Reginald Lewis in a rather awkward, forced bit where he claimed to connect with her deceased grandmother. Little was said about her music career, but Keri did say that "It is kind of a comeback" after having "hit rock bottom a few times".

A few weeks later, Keri subtly confirmed her foray back into music with a charitable endeavour. Announcing the news on her Twitter, Keri stated that she would be auctioning off a chance to visit her studio and hear her new album for women's health and education charities.

But the real reason for why Keri left was only truly revealed in a roundtable discussion several days ago. Speaking at the Silence the Shame event, Keri stated that she had left music for seven years due to severe depression.

"When 'Pretty Girl Rock' was at the top of the charts, I was bearing the weight of some personal and professional mistakes, and they just weighed so so so heavy on my spirit, and I was just not myself," she stated. "Add to that, this is when I decide to jump out of an eleven year relationship...That is just bad timing."

"It all just kind of spiraled for me, and became something I had never been through, I had never recognised myself as a person who can’t pick themselves back up. I was literally onstage crying."

Keri went on to explain that she recognised the symptoms in herself and asked her management (which included frequent collaborator Timbaland) for a year off. According to her, they didn't understand her struggle, despite the fact that she had helped Timbaland overcome depression years prior.

Keri went on to conduct her own "Eat. Pray. Love." experience, travelling to Africa, China and Japan on a world tour that allowed her to work where she wanted. "Life wasn’t about music anymore, life wasn’t about the charts or watching them," she said. "Life wasn’t about releasing music, shooting videos, writing songs, being in the studio, life was just about survival for me." Things started to change for Keri when she began attending regular therapy and addressed childhood traumas.

"Seven years of my life have been a battle with depression. And I can't say that I'm all the way clear, but I'm in the clear."

For now, Keri's album has had no official announcement, although in an interview last year it seemed as though L.I.A.R. was still the working title. Given that she's still signed to Timbaland's Mosley Music Group we can expect him to play as large a hand as he always has in her sound. We'll keep our fingers crossed that the album will finally be released this year.

Between seemingly endless streams of sexual assault accusations and ongoing discussions of female representation, gender equality is the hot topic in Hollywood at the moment. And it's just gotten even hotter now that Ellen Pompeo (aka Meredith Grey) has put her two cents into the conversation regarding equal pay, revealing that even at the height of popularity for Grey's Anatomy, she still didn't make as much money as her male co-star Patrick Dempsey (aka Derrick Shepard).

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Pompeo stated, "For me, Patrick [Dempsey] leaving the show [in 2015] was a defining moment, deal-wise. They could always use him as leverage against me — "We don't need you; we have Patrick" — which they did for years. I don't know if they also did that to him, because he and I never discussed our deals. There were many times where I reached out about joining together to negotiate, but he was never interested in that."

She went to one say, "At one point, I asked for $5,000 more than him just on principle, because the show is Grey's Anatomy and I'm Meredith Grey. They wouldn't give it to me. And I could have walked away, so why didn't I? It's my show; I'm the number one. I'm sure I felt what a lot of these other actresses feel: Why should I walk away from a great part because of a guy? You feel conflicted but then you figure, 'I'm not going to let a guy drive me out of my own house.'"

Pompeo's statements come after it was revealed last year that she will soon become the highest paid woman on television, earning more than $20 million a year for a 24 episode season. We've done the math: that's $575 000 per episode. On top of that, Pompeo will also earn a seven figure signing bonus and equity points on the series, which is speculated to bring in another $6 - $7 million. That's more dollar bills than many of us will see in our lives.

And as for how she achieved her new salary? "Decide what you think you're worth and then ask for what you think you're worth," she recounts being told by show creator Shonda Rhimes. "Nobody's just going to give it to you."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West only announced their pregnancy via a surrogate back in September, and it was only in November that they confirmed they were having a girl. Now, just two months later, the power couple have confirmed that the child was born happy and healthy and that they've already chosen a name for the new addition to their family!

As announced on Friday, the power couple have decided to name their third child Chicago. While the reasoning behind the name wasn't immediately confirmed, Chicago is notably the hometown of West who has rapped about the city in multiple songs.

In typical Kardashian style, the baby was announced on Kim's website and app in a visual post reminiscent of her packaging for KKW Beauty.

"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," wrote Kim. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister."

It wasn't long until the news had social media ablaze, and Kim swiftly took to Twitter to fan the flames even more with her nickname for little Chicago.

Love her or hate her, Kim definitely knows how to make an impact with her announcements, and the birth of her baby girl is no different. We can't wait to see what extravagant ploy they'll come up with to reveal Chi's face.

Love her or hate her, one thing's undeniable about Lady Gaga: she's totally unpredictable, not only in terms of her fashion and music, but also in terms of her career aspirations.

Case in point: Gaga recently announced her first ever residency in Las Vegas, signing an exclusive deal with the Park Theater at Monte Carlo. Launching after her Joanne World Tour comes to an end in December 2018, the show will be designed especially to make use of the unique theatre. Gaga has so far signed on for fifty performances, with specific dates to be announced in the coming months.

"It's the land of Elvis, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra, the Rat Pack, Elton John, Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli. It has been a life-long dream of mine to play Las Vegas," said Gaga in a statement. "I am humbled to be a part of a historical line-up of performers, and to have the honor of creating a new show unlike anything Vegas has ever seen before. I'll tell you exactly what I told my MGM and Park Theater partners: you can count on this performer always for one thing… I'll leave my heart on the stage every single night."

Reception to the news was initially mixed. Vegas residencies have long been considered the land of has-beens, with stars retiring to the city if they're failing to get booked elsewhere. Fans were also worried that the residency would interfere with Gaga's new album promotion or her appearance at awards season events for her upcoming debut feature film A Star Is Born.

However, for what it's worth we feel as though this residency will be good for Gaga. She's earning $100 million for only performing fifty shows, which means she'll be nabbing $2 million per performance (probably about $1 million per hour on stage)! What's more, the residency will take place over two years, meaning that Gaga will only perform around 25 shows a year - or five shows a week over five weeks for two years.

When you think of it that way, the residency really doesn't seem like that big of a commitment. Gaga is following not in the footsteps of Celine Dion or Cher, but of contemporary Bruno Mars who completed a two year residency at the Cosmopolitan back in 2014.

Charlie Sheen is known as Hollywood's typical party boy: partaking in long binges of alcohol and drug abuse, partying with the strippers and porn stars he knows as his "angels" and coming up with catchphrases such as "winning". It's a stereotype that he's been able to use to his advantage in projects such as the hit Two And A Half Men. But it seems that there's a dark side to this type of archetype, if recent allegations from actor Dominick Brascia are to be believed.

According to Brascia, his close friend Corey Haim had informed him before he died that Sheen had had sex with his co-star Corey Haim while on the set of the film Lucas. The issue? That Sheen was 19 at the time, while Haim was only 13.

"Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas. He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested," he alleged in an interview with The National Enquirer.

According to Brascia, this was not the only time the two had paired up. Haim allegedly had sex with Sheen again, but didn't enjoy it and "was finally over Sheen".

Younger readers may not know much about Haim, but he was the quintessential child star. Famous at a young age for his teen idol status and for starring in films such as The Lost Boys and Lucas, he became known for starring in the former with friend Corey Feldman, and the two became known as The Two Coreys. Predictably, Haim's early success scarred him and he was troubled by drug addiction throughout his career, ultimately passing away in 2010 at age 38.

Feldman himself had previously alleged that both he and Haim had been sexually abused by people in the industry as child stars.

"There are people that did this to me and Corey that are still working, they’re still out there, and they’re some of the most rich and powerful people in this business. And they do not want what I’m saying right now. They want me dead," he said in an interview on The View.

Afterward, Sheen is alleged to have sawed a large wedding picture of the two of them in half and then spray-painted over it, “Dumbest day of my life.”

2006: In legal filings for a custody dispute after filing for divorce the previous year, Richards claims that Sheen threatened to murder her and watched disturbing porn. Of the porn, her filing claims, “I learned that the Respondent was accessing gay pornography sites which I found even more disturbing because I felt that the boys looked underage.” (Sheen’s response: “The FBI was aware of these issues. I provided them with every computer I owned. The computers were returned two weeks later. Haven’t heard from them since. Period. The end.”)

Other claims in the filing detail multiple alleged threats on her life: “I told the Respondent that if the Respondent proceeded with his threats to take me to Court over the children for overnight visitation, that I would have to tell the truth about what he had done. He told me that ‘I Will never get to Court because I will be f--king dead!’ He told me to enjoy my parents ‘while they are still around.’ I took this to mean that he was not only going to do me harm but also do harm to my parents. In this conversation, I also brought up an old prostitute/porn star who he saw by the name of Chloe Jones. I saw on the news that she had died from undetermined causes. When I asked him if he had anything to do with her death, he said that he had ‘no comment.’ He repeated ‘no comment’ again when I asked him again. This scared me.”

To underscore Sheen’s temper and abuse, her filing included transcripts of six phone messages he allegedly left her when she was pregnant. In one, he says, “You’re a coward and a liar and a fucking n---er all right so fuck you.” In another, he references Richards’ female attorney and refers to “two pregnant cunts... plotting against the rest of us.” (Sheen claimed: “I have asked that the court eliminate Ms. Richards’s ability to abuse and harass us any longer. One can only imagine what we’ve withstood thus far.”)

Richards was granted a restraining order. When Vanity Fair’s Mark Seal later asked Sheen’s then-manager Mark Burg about this damning document, Burg responded, “No, I honestly never saw that, and you know, it’s funny how, when the divorce is over and the checks are written, all of a sudden now everybody’s friends again.”

2009: Sheen is arrested for felony second-degree assault and felony menacing against his then-wife Brooke Mueller, whose terrified voice can be heard in a 911 call fearing for her life and claiming that her husband had a knife to her throat. He pleaded guilty to third-degree domestic violence.

2010: Escort Capri Anderson alleges that Sheen put his hands on her neck and threatened to kill her on the night he was found naked and intoxicated in a New York hotel room. No arrest was made, and he entered a hospital voluntarily. (Sheen’s lawyer called Anderson’s claims “completely false.”)

2011: Mueller alleges that Sheen threatened to cut her head off and “put it in a box” and mail it to her mother and texted that he wanted to murder his Jewish manager: “I must execute mark b like the stooped jew pig that he is.” She filed a restraining order against him, which was granted, and the couples’ twins are taken from his home. (Sheen called Mueller’s claims “lies.”)

When you see Comedy Central feting him with a celebratory star-studded roast that same year, it starts to become clear that our society has struck a kind of covenant with this actor: Keep being crazy, and we’ll keep watching. Besides, as he told 20/20’s Andrea Canning, all these women are “trolls” and their accusations are “sad lies.” A lot of them are sex workers—so what does it matter, right?

As Jezebel founding editor Anna Holmes observed in her 2011 New York Times piece called “The Disposable Woman,” it took then-CNN host Piers Morgan 43 minutes into his special interview with the actor to ask him, “Have you ever hit a woman?” Then, Holmes writes, “Two minutes later, with Mr. Morgan apparently satisfied with the actor’s answer that no, women should be ‘hugged and caressed,’ that line of questioning was over.” As she noted, “while his self-abuses are endlessly discussed, his abuse of women is barely broached.”

2012: A police report is filed by a man who claims that Sheen threatened to shoot him to death with a semi-automatic handgun.

2013: Sheen sends a happy birthday tweet to his ex-wife Mueller, writing “why don’t ya ‘blow’ out this candle.” It is a picture of a grenade. The tweet was in response to her request for a restraining order.

2014: An L.A. dental technician sues him for assault and sexual battery, claiming that Sheen punched her during an office visit and grabbed her left breast.

2015: Sheen tweets at ex-wife Richards that she is a “heretic washed up piglet” and a “shame pile.”

2015: Sheen announces that he is HIV-positive to Matt Lauer. “I have to put a stop to this onslaught, this barrage of attacks, of sub-truths, and very harmful stories that are about threatening the health of so many others, which couldn’t be farther from the truth.”

2016: L.A. police confirm a police investigation into Sheen regarding the legal battle between him and his ex-fiancee Scottine Ross. In a recording on RadarOnline, a voice that was believed to be Sheen said he would rather pay $20,000 to kick Ross in the head than settle her lawsuit against him. She is granted a protective order. Ross’s lawsuit alleges that Sheen held an unloaded gun to her head and pulled the trigger, and that he exposed her to HIV. (Sheen’s lawyer, Marty Singer, calls Ross “an extortionist… who gets paid for sex as a prostitute and a porn star.”)

2017: An additional lawsuit is filed against Sheen by a Jane Doe claiming he exposed her to HIV.

Another day, another accusation of sexual abuse from a female actress. This time it's Ed Westwick, the actor best known for his roles in TV shows Gossip Girl, Wicked City and White Gold, who has been accused of rape by Kristina Cohen.

Cohen, who has had bit parts in television shows such as Californiacation and The Middle, went public with the accusations on Facebook on Monday, and has since elaborated on her story in The Hollywood Reporter. The full Facebook post can be read below.

According to Cohen, the incident took place when she was dating a producer - later confirmed to be Kaine Harling - who was friends with Westwick. The two attended a dinner at Westwick's house, and Cohen became uncomfortable when the actor suggested they "all fuck". However, she was convinced to stay by Harling who didn't wish to cause offence to Westwick, and she instead went and slept in his guest bedroom. Some time later, Cohen found herself awoken by Westwick on top of her penetrating her with his fingers. Although she tried to fight him off, she was unsuccessful and he raped her.

While Cohen's story was initially met with an outpouring of support, her later statements to The Hollywood Reporter were met with more speculation. According to Cohen, she ended up staying the night with Westwick and didn't leave until the next morning, which some commenters found suspicious. While it's possible Cohen felt pressured into staying with her abuser, it does seem strange that she wouldn't leave immediately after undergoing such a traumatic incident.

For his part, Westwick has point blank denied knowing Cohen at all on his Twitter account. As such, it seems to be a pretty open and shut case: if Cohen can prove that she's met Westwick at least once, his case will fall apart; if he can prove he has never met her, hers will.

Of course, this isn't the first accusation of abuse that's been put forward in Hollywood in recent weeks. Initially sparked by a piece on Harvey Weinstein, actors and actresses everywhere have since come forward to tell their stories, with the other most high profile accusations involving actor Kevin Spacey.

Sia has clapped back at an unnamed photographer who is threatening to sell her nude pictures to fans.

Allegedly, the photographer made contact with several members of Sia's fanbase they found online recently, offering fifteen pictures of the popstar naked in exchange for money.

After fans made contact with Sia about the proposition with screenshots of the photograph, she took to Twitter to post the nude picture herself, preventing the photographer from making money off the shot.

Sadly, the story isn't yet over. The photo Sia got her hands on is just one of fifteen, and it is also the only one blurred. It's possible that further images could be sold for profit and leaked online.

A notoriously private celebrity, Sia is known for the extravagant wigs she wears to hide her face in public appearances and even while singing on stage. It's likely that this would cause the photos to sell for more than usual. However, Sia is also an oddity of a celebrity who has an interesting relationship with the press, and it's totally in character for her to subvert the paparazzi system by taking away their ability to make money off her image.

Sexual assault is a hot topic in Hollywood at the moment, and it seems like barely a day goes by without another actor coming forward to share their story of abuse in the industry. Since Harvey Weinstein was exposed several weeks ago, dozens of female actresses have shared their version of events; but up until now, no high profile males have come forward to talk about their experiences with sexual abuse.

That was until yesterday, when Anthony Rapp, famous for his starring role in the original cast of Broadway show Rent and for his lead role on the new Star Trek: Discovery TV show, alleged to Buzzfeed News that he had been victim of an unwanted sexual advance from actor Kevin Spacey when he was only 14.

Rapp's full story can be read over at Buzzfeed, but according to him he met Spacey while he starred in Broadway show Precious Sons, with Spacey adjacent to him starring in Long Day's Journey Into Night. The two struck up a friendship despite the fact that Spacey was twelve years older than Rapp at age 26, and Rapp not only attended an adults only club with Spacey but went to a house party he was hosting as well. Rapp became bored at the party with no one of his own age to talk to, and ended up entering Spacey's bedroom to watch TV. Without realising that all of the other guests had left, Rapp found himself facing a drunk Spacey who stood in the doorway to his room swaying. Spacey then picked up Rapp and threw him on the bed, lying on top of him and pressing their bodies together in an obvious sexual advance. Rapp ended up extricating himself from the situation and went home, but not before Spacey had questioned whether he wanted to stay the night.

Spacey refused to make a statement to Buzzfeed, but he would later take to Twitter to not only apologise to Rapp, but also to deny memory of the situation and to come out as gay for the first time publicly.

While it's admirable for Spacey to finally come out as gay - although according to Andy Cohen's memoir it was already common knowledge in the industry - we can't help but feel it's a diversion tactic to avoid talking about the incident with Rapp. And it seems to have worked, for Spacey has received much more support publicly than Weinstein did. Admittedly, Weinstein was faced with many more accusations, some of which were much more physical, and people don't share the same bond with him as they do with Spacey, a well known face on the big screen. But we can't help but feel there's a double standard here which doesn't seem quite fair to Weinstein.

After months of speculation, and dozens of names being tossed into the ring (including Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Taylor Swift), Justin Timberlake has been officially announced as the performer at next year's highly anticipated Super Bowl Half Time Show.

Super Bowl LII (or 52, for those who are Roman numerals illiterate like I am) will be aired on February 14th, and judging by the announcement it's already set to be an event.

The announcement further alludes to the fact that Timberlake will be releasing new music soon, as it's the NFL's desire that any artist to perform at the Super Bowl in coming years will be in the middle of an album cycle.

Of course, this isn't Timberlake's first time on the Super Bowl stage. Back in 2004 he caused controversy during a joint headlining performance with Janet Jackson, P. Diddy, Nelly and Kid Rock. During the infamous performance, Timberlake dueted with Jackson on a version of his single 'Rock Your Body', during which there were provocative dance moves on display. At the end of the performance, Timberlake ripped off Jackson's shirt to reveal her breast, covered only by a pastie. This kind of a display would probably barely cause a batted eyelid in 2017, but at the time it was huge news and CBS was fined a record $550 000. Fans are already expecting Timberlake to return the favour by inviting Jackson to his half-time show; but whether she appears or doesn't, it's almost certain that Jackson will ask his former N*Sync band members to help him out on a few songs.

Justin's performance will follow hot on the heels of Lady Gaga's performance at this year's Super Bowl, which ended up being the most watched halftime show in the history of the game. Compared to Gaga, Justin definitely has more hits to break out, although he has less of an interesting performance style. We're hoping this show won't just be him running around in a suit for ten minutes straight.

Lindsay Lohan is finally trending on Twitter: but probably not in the way she'd hope.

The 31 year old onetime child star is back in the headlines after taking to her Instagram story earlier today to defend Harvey Weinstein. You know, the ex-Hollywood executive accused of sexually harassing and/or assaulting dozens of women.

She started off her speech innocently enough. "Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan. I’m in Dubai. I’m home," she begins, speaking in her infamously stilted accent. "I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein right now. I don’t think it’s right what’s going on."

"He’s never harmed me or did anything to me. We’ve done several movies together," she continued, referring to the Weinstein productions Bobby and Scary Movie 5, both of which she appeared in. "I think everyone needs to stop. I think it’s wrong. So, stand up.”

If you happened to have been living under a rock for the past week or so: allegations about Weinstein were first published in The New York Times by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey. According to the two authors, Weinstein had been sexually harassing, and subsequently paying settlements, to a multitude of women over the past three decades.

Since then, accusations about Weinstein have been overflowing out of Hollywood, the sign of many years of pent up secrets. Over thirty women of varying reputation and status have come forward to voice their experiences, including Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGowan and Cara Delevigne.

As a result, Weinstein has been fired from the board of his production company, The Weinstein Company, by his own brother; has been divorced by his wife of ten years, Georgina Chapman; has been suspended from the BAFTA organisation; and has been shamed by Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama, both of whom he has donated money to.

Lohan is the first celebrity to publicly defend Weinstein, although Donald Trump has stated that he is "not surprised" about the allegations.

The queen of country is slaying us once again! In anticipation of her forthcoming album Younger Now, Miley Cyrus has decided to give her fans a treat. She performed for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge not only her two recent singles 'Malibu' and 'Younger Now', but also her iconic classics 'Party In The USA' and, for the tenth anniversary of the song, 'See You Again'. Finally, Miley also covered a classic Roberta Flack song, 'The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face'.

The onetime Disney star continued the western theme she's been loving as of late, looking stunning in a sparkly blue pair of cowboy boots and an oversized Elvis Presley tee. What's more, she performed straight from her own recording studio Rainbowland Studios in Malibu, California.

Marina and the Diamonds has written an expansive letter implying that she may quit music - at least for the time being.

The one hit wonder, who was once on the brink of superstardom with her songs 'Primadonna' and 'How To Be A Heartbreaker', launched an entirely new website just for the letter entitled 'marinabook'. According to Marina, starting marinabook was a way to "explore different interests" and for her to "stay connected" with her fans while she works out her identity.

Fans will remember that Marina has explored different personas throughout hre career, particularly on the album Electra Heart. "I explored this in Electra Heart by deconstructing aspects of female identity in a portrayal of female archetypes," she mentioned. But it seems as though she's now trying to access the core of who she is, without the fantastical mask of a character to hide behind.

Another day, another hole in the sinking ship that is Katy Perry's Witness album.

So far this era, Katy has been accused of cultural appropriation, approving of misogyny and homophobia, and being an all around tryhard mess. Now, with the release of her latest music video for 'Swish Swish', Katy has proven the latter, while adding a new SJW buzz word to the description of herself: fat shamer.

The 'Swish Swish' video was released several days ago, and features Perry putting together a group of misfit sportsmen - the Tigers - to take down a group of pro basketballers - the Sheep. Over the course of the video, Katy's crew - which includes people such as Backpack Kid, known as Pack Man; choreographer Dexter Mayfield, known as Hair Jordan; and YouTube vlogger Christine Sydelko, referred to as Shaquille O'Meals - learn to channel their negative moments into positive earnings and ultimately win the game.

But not everyone was happy about Sydelko's appearance in the video. Over the course of the six and a half minute clip, Sydelko chows down on some tacos, eats a basketball and then burps it back up, and seduces one of her opponents over a tortilla. According to Twitter, this was unforgiveable "fat shaming" which turned Sydelko's appearance into one big fat joke and made the video unwatchable.

The situation was made worse when Sydelko's vlogging partner, Elijah Daniel, took to Twitter to vent his frustrations on her behalf.

The two YouTubers also took to their channel later on to react to the video live. While Elijah continued his tirade against Perry, Christine was understandably more diplomatic, and said that she wasn't offended by the video in the slightest.

For our part, while we understand the point that Twitter users were trying to make, we frankly think that Christine should be thankful for even being given the opportunity to star in a music video from one of the worlds biggest stars. 'Swish Swish' currently has over 40 million views which is more than Elijah and Christine's channel put together, and will be syndicated worldwide in countries around the globe. That's exposure YouTube could never get you.

Christine also claims that she was unaware of the emphasis that would be placed on her weight in the video, which is standard practise for most music videos which don't want to reveal their plots before release. However, there was no mention of her ever trying to voice her concerns about the video to the director and if worse had come to worse she could have simply refused to participate. In our opinion, this is simply another case of someone taking the money and exposure a star will give them, before turning around and spitting in their face for more publicity.

Liam Payne, an ex One Direction member, took to social media on Sunday to share a little workout video with fans and he is completely shirtless!

The 23 year old singer can be seen doing some pull-ups before dropping off the handles at the end. His physique looks amazing!

Liam‘s 'Get Low' collaborator Zedd left a funny comment on the video: "Bro, do you even lift ?! ?".

Earlier this week, the duo appeared in London to give a surprise performance of the song. If that wasn't enough joy for their fans, they were also filming their upcoming music video!

When it was first announced that Lady Gaga would be headlining season five of American Horror Story, sub-titled Hotel, there was a mixed reaction from fans of the show. While Gaga stans were understandably excited, others worried that she wouldn't have the acting chops to pull it off, especially with the shows lead Jessica Lange taking her leave that season. Lange infamously shrugged, laughed and played coy when asked in an interview if Gaga's presence in the show could convince her to stick around for another season.

Well if new comments from Gaga's co-star and love interest in the show Matt Bomer are anything to go by, the series could have looked very different if Lange had chosen to stay. According to Bomer, season five the show was originally meant to be a Civil War period piece with Lange as the lead before Gaga's involvement was confirmed.

It's an interesting twist in the story. Up until now, we had been told that Jessica Lange was always going to make her exit in season five and that Gaga's appearance had nothing to do with her choice. But it now sounds as though Lange was at one point confirmed for the season, with an entire plotline based around her character. We can't help but speculate if Gaga's casting made her decide to leave the show, or if showrunner Ryan Murphy's decision to retool the series as Hotel for Gaga encouraged Lange to jump ship.

Either way, it's all getting very Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, and we'd love to know more about what happened between the two superstars. Better yet, let's just get them in a series together!

Pink has been a busy bee lately promoting her upcoming album Beautiful Trauma and its lead single 'What About Us?'. During an interview with KISS FM UK, she was asked to pick a side in Taylor Swift and Katy Perry‘s ongoing feud. The biggest feud since Hilary and Lindsay, Taylor vs. Katy apparently began when Taylor accused Katy of stealing dancers from her tour, and has escalated ever since.

Wonder which side P!nk took? Wonder no more! She said:

Seems like P!nk is more of a Swiftie than a Katycat. All we can say is "Swift Swift Bitch" or however it goes.

Selena Gomez invites fans behind the scenes of the music video for her brand new single 'Fetish'! The song was released on July 13th, with the music video uploaded on July 26th. Sadly, Selena hasn't given the song too much promo causing it to flop on the charts. The single deserves much more in my personal opinion.

The 24 year old starlet shared a behind the scenes video on her VEVO from the set of the 'Fetish' music video, giving us a look at how much of a blast she had while filming it. She is so cute and sweet!  

The song is the third single from Selena's highly anticipated new album set to drop later this year.

Stop whatever you're doing, because we have some breaking news that requires your immediate attention!

Britney Spears is back at it again performing another sold-out Piece of Me show in Las Vegas after a brief worldwide tour that covered Asia and parts of the Middle East recently. But it seems as though Britney's international sojourns have inspired her to make some changes to the show's setlist.

Because in the middle of the show tonight, Britney took a break from the usual to throw out a cover of Bonnie Raitt's top #5 1991 single 'Something To Talk About'. And most spectacularly, the song was performed completely live!

That's right: just months after clapping back at her lip syncing accusations in an interview, Britney is making good on her word by ditching the backing track and stunning us with some live vocals.

Before you get too excited, this is still Britney Spears we're talking about, so there's a degree of nasalness (is that a word?) and pitchiness to deal with. But Britney's vocals are a lot better than we expected, and her tone is actually better than a lot of other singers around today.

This isn't the first time Britney's broken out in song while she takes on some covers. During her Circus tour back in 2009, Britney performed live covers of Alanis Morissette's 'You Oughta Know' and Duffy's 'I'm Scared'. And she's occasionally sung 'Happy Birthday' to some of her backup dancers on stage, if you think that counts.

We're still waiting on a video of the full performance (keep in mind this did literally happen half an hour ago), but until we get that you can enjoy this short snippet of Britney singing her little heart out.

Remember the days when Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Paris Hilton were the most talked about stars in Hollywood? Even though Lindsay's social life has stayed out of the tabloids in recent years, the actress and onetime singer Lindsay Lohan took to Twitter to tease new music. The star posted the following Tweet:

Lindsay has generally avoided the topic of new music in her recent interviews, however she at one time admitted that she has still one album to make to fulfil her record deal with Casablanca Records.

Her last album A Little More Personal (RAW) was released in 2005 and gave us the iconic and heartbreaking pop-rock song 'Confessions Of a Broken Heart (Daughter To Father)'. Even though the album was amazing, it flopped on the charts. To this day it is considered one of the most underrated dark pop masterpieces.

The singer later released a song called 'Bossy' in 2007, teasing her probable comeback. However, the single was meant to promote project, known to her fans as Spirit In The Dark, was never fully released and only a few songs from those sessions have leaked onto the web.

Her fans are extremely hungry for new music from her as it was twelve years since her last album saw the light of the day. We are rooting for you, Lindsay! Remember to ReTweet her and help to make it happen!  

The unquestionable queen of country Shania Twain has just announced that she’s hitting the road next year to promote her new album NOW!, out September 29th! Produced by Live Nation, the tour kicks off May 3rd in Tacoma, Washington and will run through the rest of the summer, culminating in Las Vegas on August 4th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Sadly, no European dates has been unveiled as of now, but we still have hope.
