You don't hear Britney saying she wrote her songs and she's been in the top 5 since 1996 and Bey has been in the music for so long and has made a marked but you know her writing skills ain't on point, and lets not get started with Madonna Well actually, Britney totally stole writing credits on her last album and Bey has been taking credits that don't belong to her since like B'Day. But up until then they were doing super well! Same with Madge, I feel like she was honestly writing her songs (and putting out her bast material tbh) up until like two albums ago maybe?
