THE PRESENT - ALISON GOLDFRAPP SOLO CAREER: Alison Goldfrapp, is NOT a failed tween Disney Princess with a failed pop career who could not get an album out on Hollywood Records circa 2002. She returns as a solo artist (her first without band mate Will Gregory), on her upcoming debut album “The Love Invention” which includes at least one collaboration with Richard X, who was so ‘inspired’ by the production on the Goldfrapp produced track “Strict Machine”, that he assimilated it without permission and used it on Rachel Stevens “Some Girls”.
