To be fair, I've only heard of their collabs in recent years. Their production for The Weeknd feel like they were only released a couple of years ago to me! 🤔 But other than that I don't know if they've been doing any solo material.

Ah, that's probably why! I do remember seeing their production credits with The Weeknd, now that you mention it. welp, end of an era, wonder what they're (individually) gonna do next!

  2. Over time, with the block feature, I've been able to stop viewing the user's writing, but it does show up as quoted text. While I've largely been able to overlook what's written, I do see the impacts it has on the forum as a whole. Despite attempts to reach out, offer material the user has asked for, etc, I've been met with brash and hostile responses. At the end of the day, I do hope/believe all users want to do their best to adhere to generally accepted behaviour, which in my eyes, is offered as a range to accommodate many varying personality types. Are there users on here that get on my nerves? Yeah, absolutely, but I can recognize when it's a "me problem." There's different personalities and then there's flagrant disregard. We have some amazing members here who have been here for years and some really cool new members that are just lovely additions. I would hate for the actions of one to drive away the great and unique individuals who come through the forum. We're here because we love music, we love the artists, and we want to support each other's work (self-recordings, fan-made artwork, etc.). While I can see why, @Skinny Legend, you want to take time to consider this action, I do believe this isolated case of banning a user is the right decision.. I believe this would be a great example of how members in this community want a positive experience on the forum and not have to deal with one very vocal heckler attacking their favourite artists, or worse, attacking them personally. There are other music forums out there where this type of behaviour is probably more accepted/unregulated, but I think quite highly of the community at PHF, which is why I've chosen to stay here as long as I have. <3

As far as I know, not during that camp, but in those years (2011 mostly), I think these:

    • Bubblegum
    • Dollface
    • Just Like That
    • Hungover
    • Pretty Red Apple (2010. Apparently written for other singer but remained unreleased)
    • Sex Tape (Push Rewind) (Co-written with Neon Hitch, and apparently purposed for her. There's a Kerli demo which leaked long ago)
    • Scream
    • Skyscraper (for Demi Lovato. Originally intended for her second album but then given away. Possibly when the album was titled I.Nimene)
    • Too Much of Not Enough (given to another singer, don't remember her name)
    • When You Cry
    • XO

Awesome, thank you! I really gotta get my Kerli folder organized... :stretcher:

Just Like That was written during a writing camp, most likely along with Hungover, so I believe it was either for other singers or simply not intended for an album.

Ah, that makes sense. I love both of those! To your knowledge, were there other songs written during that camp? Or in a similar type of setting?

lol I've posted it several times but I'll give it once again ;) it's only from the songs we are aware of. Happy Pill was unknown until it leaked a few days ago, so I might skip songs that are still unknown.

    Weapons of Mass Creation

    • Army of Love
    • Blow the Speakers Up
    • Bubblegum (potentially)
    • Bullet
    • Happy Pill
    • Heart Line
    • Immortal
    • Legends (potentially, most likely because of the lyrical content)
    • Love Bomb
    • Music Is Dead
    • Weapons of Mass Creation
    • Zero Gravity (potentially)

    Utopia

    • Army of Love
    • Can't Control the Kids
    • Chemical
    • Here and Now
    • Immortal
    • Kaleidoscope
    • Last Breath
    • Love Me or Leave Me
    • The Lucky Ones
    • Made for Loving You (unleaked)
    • Speed Limit
    • Stardust (the piano ballad, not the tyDi feature)
    • Supergirl
    • Sugar
    • Zero Gravity

Bubblegum, Dollface, XO, Scream and When You Cry belong to a specific era that I theorize is the so called I.Nimene version of her sophomore album, from which we know almost nothing but the title. But it's more pop/rock than its follow-ups Weapons of Mass Creation and Utopia, which lean more to EDM. I hope I didn't miss any title.

Thank you! I knew I saw it somewhere, but I didn't wanna go digging through pages. :cypher:

Were songs like "Just Like That" written for other artists? I remember that one, specifically, having a more dance-pop beat.

Now there’s talk he should also apologize to Kylie for the performance when he touched her butt after she said not to. Forget what awards show that was from (but it had a great Blondie cover lol).

tbh, I've never cared much for Justin. Overall, I'm glad he's taking responsibility for his past behaviour and I'd be curious what else he addresses, if anything.

If this is true, I sure hope we can get at least a peak of it in the future! I remember back when Danja did a youtube video and previewed an instrumental he had supposedly made for Britney for the original Britney Jean. It's at around the 5 min mark.

I really enjoy Danja's work with Britney, but given how hard it is to get a hold of her music, I doubt we'll be hearing it anytime soon. Unless her team decides they need a quick buck and releases them officially :stretcher:

Oh shit, that instrumental hits hard! I would've loved to hear this on the album! I will say that it sounds somewhat dated, but not in the same way the Will.I.Am tracks sound. Those were trendy, this one is like classic.

    Yes, most probably.

LT was really good for several reasons, but there were bad signs all the way: it took ages to fix that cloud flare thing a couple of month ago, they also already had been offline one year back.

it actually felt like sb let underage unexpected kids drive a Ferrari Testarossa.

But the Testarossa is a 12-cylinder. Nobody can pass up the chance to take that out for a spin.
